Those in the administration who authorized negotiations with the terrorists who are ideologically allies to those responsible for the murders of September 11th, 2001 will have to answer these questions:
How did Sgt. Bergdahl fall into the hands of the Enemy? The official version is that he left his post without permission, yet on a video his captors released, Bergdahl says he was the Tail-End Charlie of a foot patrol and became separated. Which is it? Did he go AWOL? Will he be charged with desertion?
Why did his father – who wears a full beard typical of fundamentalist Salafi Muslims – praise Allah in Arabic in the press conference with the Commander-in-Chief in front of the White House?
Why did the Haqqani Network, one of the deadliest jihadi groups in the world, agree to exchange Bergdahl for five commanders from the Afghan Taliban who are not members of the Haqqani Network? Instead of, for example, for Mali Kahn another Guantanamo detainee who is a senior Haqqani commander.
According to his friends and those that know him, Bergdahl joined the military in order to help the Afghan people and provide "philanthropic support to the war effort." When did we change US Armed Forces recruiting protocols and start looking for charity workers instead of professional soldiers for our infantry?
At the strategic level, what response will the administration have to all the allied nations, including France, Spain, and Italy, to whom we have insisted since 2001 that they do not negotiate with terrorists for the release of their nationals and who did as we requested?
Lastly, what other concessions is the Obama White House prepared to make with the Enemy?

It was a small outpost where B Co 1-501st INF (Airbone) ran operations out of, just an Infantry platoon and ANA counterparts there. The place was an Afghan graveyard. Bergdahl had been acting a little strange, telling people he wanted to “walk the earth” and kept a little journal talking about how he was meant for better things. No one thought anything about it. He was a little “out there”. Next morning he’s gone. We search everywhere, and can’t find him. He left his weapon, his kit, and other sensitive items. He only took some water, a compass and a knife. We find some afghan kids shortly after who saw an american walking north asking about where the taliban are. We get hits on our voice intercepter that Taliban has him, and we were close. We come to realize the kid deserted his post, snuck out of camp and sought out Taliban… to join them. We were in a defensive position at OP Mest, where your focus is to keep people out. He knew where the blind spots were to slip out and that’s what he did. It was supposed to be a 4-day mission but turned into several months of active searching. Everyone was spun up to find this guy. News outlets all over the country were putting out false information. It was hard to see, especially when we knew the truth about what happened and we lost good men trying to find him. PFC Matthew Michael Martinek, Staff Sgt. Kurt Robert Curtiss, SSG Clayton Bowen, PFC Morris Walker, SSG Michael Murphrey, 2LT Darryn Andrews, were all KIA from our unit who died looking for Bergdahl. Many others from various units were wounded or killed while actively looking for Bergdahl. Fighting Increased. IEDs and enemy ambushes increased. The Taliban knew that we were looking for him in high numbers and our movements were predictable. Because of Bergdahl, more men were out in danger, and more attacks on friendly camps and positions were conducted while we were out looking for him. His actions impacted the region more than anyone wants to admit. There is also no way to know what he told the Taliban: Our movements, locations, tactics, weak points on vehicles and other things for the enemy to exploit are just a few possibilities. The Government knows full well that he deserted. It looks bad and is a good propaganda piece for the Taliban. They refuse to acknowledge it. Hell they even promoted him to Sergeant which makes me sick. I feel for his family who only want their son/brother back. They don’t know the truth, or refuse to acknowledge it as well. What he did affected his family and his whole town back home, who don’t know the truth. Either way what matters is that good men died because of him. He has been lying on all those Taliban videos about everything since his “capture”. If he ever returns, he should be tried under the UCMJ for being a deserter and judged for what he did. Bergdahl is not a hero, he is not a soldier or an Infantryman. He failed his brothers. Now, sons and daughters are growing up without their fathers who died for him and he will have to face that truth someday.”

Of course Obama, Hagel, and Rice are saying that they did not negotiate with terrorists. Their statement is that the government of Qatar did the negotiations. BIG F***ing DEAL!
It is still negotiations to trade five senior Taliban commanders for a f***ing traitor. Every U.S. veteran needs to join a rally and march on Washington until this piece of sh*t is brought up on charges of treason and tried and hung.

Bergdahl walked away from the Army OP in civilian clothes leaving his weapon and gear behind and joined up with the Taliban/enemy. Clearly he deserted his post and collaborated with the enemy. The definition of Traitor. He should be charged with UCMJ Articles 84, 85, 86, 105 and any others that apply. Then perp walked into a Court Martial, not given a welcome home parade.
If they say they did not, that means they did.
Go back and look at the video of Bergdahl’s father praising Allah, and watch Obama’s face. He goes from somber to a big smile as the father praises Allah.
Found an article this weekend that said he had mailed his uniform and some books home already, as well, prior to being captured.

Fortunately there was a major league baseball game on another channel and that wasn't pre-empted for Bergdahl Sr.'s interminable rambling.

This ain't gona get swept under the rug, no matter how much he wants it to.
The worst part of this deal is not the release of the 5 terrorists that will come back to haunt us but the release of the defector into the arms of those who will treat him as a military hero.
