President Obama was welcomed by the Black Knight of the Hudson for his speech at West Point on Wednesday, but less than 25 percent of the cadets gave him a standing ovation upon his introduction, the Daily Mail reported.
Receiving tepid applause and a short standing ovation from less than one-quarter of the audience upon his introduction, Obama argued for a contradictory foreign policy that relies on NATO and the United Nations while insisting that America must always lead on the world stage, the paper reported.
During his speech, which the Wall Street Journal called consistent with that of every post-Cold War administration, the president also took a swipe at critics, saying: I believe in American exceptionalism with every fiber of my being. But what makes us exceptional is not our ability to flout international norms and the rule of law; its our willingness to affirm them through our actions.
Much of the presidents speech focused on using military force only as a last resort and working with allies to solve global conflicts.

25% is the Faggot/Clamlicker enrollment quota established under this administration.
“our ability to flout international norms and the rule of law”
This is what John Kerry’s administration would have been like if elected in ‘04.
As soon as I can I will
Swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution, not a man.
That is in great part of what makes the US military great.
Those 25% probably swore an oath under their breath to support and defend the big zero and not the Constitution.
The biggest applause came right after he said, “And in conclusion...”
This guy has no clue on how to inspire or lead. A commencement address is a message for the graduates....to inspire them to make their mark in the world. He’s so self centered, even if his message was correct, this is not the venue to state it.
We went to the you tube site. Not the google you tube. I told the kids to watch it as it would be disappeared.

Oh, c’mon, Gator! Really?
Colonel, TJAGC, USAFR
I don’t agree across the board because serving aboard a ship is completely different than serving on the ground. . .or in the air. And depending on which service, Marine or Army, serving on land is completely different than the other.
Offered from my perspective as an Air Force officer that served for 6-months aboard a US Navy ship (under way, making way), and as a ground FAC for over 2-yrs with the US Army (too include Gulf War I combat), and as a joint air campaign planning for USMC aviators.
Thank you, sir.
Not sure how to get there. Hate to ask again, but link?
You don’t think that down the road once a couple of gays infiltrate the ranks, they won’t start promoting their buddies?
You mean future generals?
I saw the first ten minutes or so on CNN. They did not mute the applause, it just sounded like it.
They also only showed the audience once, about half of them clapping listlessly while the president led applause with his bizarre rhythmic clapping--about something, I forget what. It was an embarrassing moment. And the cadets clearly couldn't have cared less about keeping time with the contemptible poser.

Poll on website - Should Congress make English the official language of the U.S.
Landslide in favor of YES!
Was that man not elected under the mechanisms dictated by the Constitution? Isn’t the legislature and judiciary totally on board with the executive branch, all as outlined in the Constitution? Has he given the military orders that are blatantly illegal?
