What would you think if your 8-year-old came home and told you that "white privilege is something that white people have, meaning they have an advantage in a lot of things and they can get a job more easily"? You would have heard that at the recent 15th annual White Privilege Conference in Madison, Wisconsin, attended by 2,500 public-school teachers, administrators and students from across the nation.
The average parent has no idea of the devious indoctrination going on in classrooms in many public schools. What follows are some of the lessons of the conference.
In one of the workshops, "Examining White Privilege and Building Foundations for Social Justice Thinking in the Elementary Classroom," educators Rosemary Colt and Diana Reeves told how teachers can "insert social justice, anti-racist information" into their lessons that "even little kids" can understand.
Kim Radersma, a former high-school English teacher, hosted a session titled "Stories from the front lines of education: Confessions of a white, high school English teacher." She said that teaching is a purely political act and that neutral people should "get the f--- out of education." She also explained: "Being a white person who does anti-racist work is like being an alcoholic. I will never be recovered by my alcoholism, to use the metaphor. I have to every day wake up and acknowledge that I am so deeply embedded with racist thoughts and notions and actions in my body that I have to choose every day to do anti-racist work and think in an anti-racist way."
But the propaganda and lunacy go even deeper. Jacqueline Battalora, professor of sociology and criminal justice at Saint Xavier University, informed conference participants that "white people did not exist before 1681. Again, white people did not exist on planet earth until 1681." That's truly incredible. If Professor Battalora is correct, how are we to identify William Shakespeare (1564), Sir Isaac Newton (1642), John Locke (1632), Leonardo da Vinci (1452) and especially dear Plato (428 B.C.)? Were these men people of color, or did they not exist?
John A. Powell, a University of California, Berkeley law professor, told his audience, "And right now, I'm going to suggest to you that race is driving almost everything that's happening in the country." He explained the Hurricane Katrina disaster in New Orleans by saying, "They took money away from protecting the levees because the levees were protecting black people."
Stephanie Baran's message to conference participants was that capitalism is the cause of racism in the world today. This adjunct professor at Kankakee Community College, who calls herself a vulgar Marxist, added that racism was invented in Colonial America by white capitalists as a tool to divide labor and keep the working class in their place.
Educator Paul Kivel explained what he sees as Christian hegemony, saying, "Very simply, I define it as the everyday pervasive, deep-seated and institutionalized dominance of Christian values, Christian institutions, leaders and Christians as a group, primarily for the benefit of Christian ruling elites."
Speaker Leonard Zeskind -- according to the MacIver Institute, which covered the event -- explained that "the longer you are in the tea party the more racist you become." He added, "Parents put their kids in private schools because they're racist."
University of Iowa Professor Adrien Wing gave some of her observations about white privilege, asking, "Does having a black president change that? Has it changed that? Unfortunately, it hasn't. ... (President Obama) ends up being the front man for the system. ... He works for the master of the system of white privilege."
I can't imagine people being stupid enough to believe all that was said at the White Privilege Conference. There's something else at work. I think it's white guilt. That's why, for almost three decades, there has appeared on my website a certificate of amnesty and pardon that I've granted to Americans of European ancestry in the hope that they stop feeling guilty and stop acting like fools.

I was a employment supervisor, personnel manager and more throughout the 80’s and bringing women and minorities into, what had previously all male heavy industrial plant, was mandatory. And if a black person was minimally qualified and a white person was highly qualified the promotion had to go to the minority - and that’s a fact.
Just do us all a favor and kill yourself.
White privilege = high IQ, future time orientation, temperate disposition, co-operative attitude.
I'm proud of and glad that whites have white privilege because it creates first world Western civilization and I don't have to live a San Pedro Sula, a Lagos, or the banks of the Ganges. White privilege is a wonderful thing.

If white privilege means that I went to school everyday and did my homework, was respectful to authority, served my country, went to college on my own dime and worked 3 jobs while doing it, had God fearing children that love this country as much as I do, worked hard at every job I have had since I was 14, gave to charity, never took a dime of unemployment or any other government handout, paid my bills, paid my taxes, and voted in every election since I was 18 then I guess I am proud to suffer from white privilege.
I just haven’t figured out what this privilege got me besides the things I listed above.

I have watched a PhD in Ecology from Boston U reverse her position and spout the commie/enviro line regarding anthropogenic global warming. This was a close friend who knew all about the fraud, faulty premises, ad nauseam which were then and still are part and parcel of “Global Warming”.
Not having the character to even tell me she was accepting known lies for political expediency, she never once mentioned what was going on, or that she was now attacking me behind my back.
Decades later, another friend told me about her. Her behavior is typical of educators, as a class. In her case, with a degree in science rather than a mere “education” degree, and being a nationally recognized biology teacher, one would assume her commitment to hard data rather than hard ball politics would have been unswerving.
One would have assumed wrongly.
For those who think that Jews are more committed to intellectual honesty due to a few thousand years of rigorous intellectual tradition, this friend kept a kosher home.
Unfortunately, when a decision had to be made, she kept what amounted to a de facto ‘kosher’ commie conscience and supported the commie education union. Such intellectual contradiction is typical of Liberal American Jews, who are the large majority of American Jews.
When those with intellect, education, rank with the ‘education community’, and financial freedom to speak out - refuse to so do, America has a problem festering within its education community.
In a Republic predicated upon liberty, it is essential to examine principles - for some principles are antithetical to liberty.

I don’t know of any white recipients, especially United States Presidents, who received a Nobel Peace Prize just for being white.
“White Privilege” is two parents, a mother and father.
Who, whatever their troubles, stay together at least until their children leave the nest.
Who read them to sleep every night with appropriate books (like Wind in the Willows) that help them develop a love of reading.
Who take them library, and get them library cards as soon as they are old enough for it.
Who tell their kids to turn off the TV and go out and play.
Who set chores for them and who teach them a work ethic by letting them work for money.
Who check their school work and progress at school.
Who teach their children to respect them, their elders and themselves.
That is “White Privilege.” Anyone of any race can have it. I had it, and my children are going to have it. And the people who don’t provide it for their offspring can all go to HELL!

Being born “white” (whatever that is) does not guarantee or grant privilege.

Walter Williams has been trying to wake up White Conservatives--those White Conservatives, whose approach to social issues is that of a dog with his tale between his legs--for a generation. He understands human reality. He understands race relations. He understands freedom & responsibility. As a kindly intentioned realist, his is indeed a voice in a veritable wilderness.
Having said that, let me commend you; not for your pessimism, but for the fact that you are able to make a cogent point. You are not one cowed by ideological crack-pots.
The clue to better relations between different definable groups, races, communities, nations, tribes & classes, is not the hideously absurd pretense that we are all interchangeable--we are not;--or the ridiculous notion that those who succeed exploit or cause others to fail; no, rather its a lesson we should have learned from what actually improved relations between peoples, throughout human history; treating others with respect for who they are; encouraging people to develop the diverse talents they actually have; sharing know how, rather than forced uniformity, etc., etc.
