"I know that people are angry and want swift reckoning. I sympathize with that," Obama said. "But we have to let the investigators do their jobs and get to the bottom of what happened. Our veterans deserve to know the facts; their families deserve to know the facts. Once we know the facts, I assure you, if there is misconduct it will be punished."

It won’t take that long. Less than a year. Negligent care will be re-labeled as “administrative error” and the rate of death will be reported similar to the best (or some other similar comparison that is a complete non sequitur). Less than a year, maybe less than six months, and we’ll be at “found our scapegoats, fired ‘em, streamlined triage.” Other than the firings, it’ll all be made up gibberish.
Obama never tells it like it is...because he never has a true handle on what's going on with anything. For him it's all about his image, and right now hes not going to bring that from the abyss he's brought on himself. He's a deplorable President as are those who brought him into office and continue to support him.

This reminds me of a great scene from the movie “City of Ember”. In it, Bill Murray plays the Mayor, who has been hoarding a personal food supply in a secret bunker while the residents are starving and all the generators are failing.
When he is pressed to do something about the problems, he gives a speech to assuage the citizens, where he announces that:
“We need answers. But beyond answers-
more important than answers-
we need solutions.”
“And in order to find those solutions...
I propose we launch
a thorough investigation.”
All the while knowing that he and his cronies intend to do nothing but aggravate the problems.
It’s as though he wants people to be angry. Crisis after crisis, gov’t abuse after gov’t abuse, and all this clown does is offer platitudes or MORE government intervention.
First thing I thought of was a transcript [of Rush] posted here where Rush gave a zillion examples of the _resident being outraged over this thing or that.... BO always acting as if he were an outsider looking in, placing himself outside the process, no accountability for his own actions or inactions, completely disconnected from the abominations committed by his own regime under his direction.

Most interpret that to mean that a dog watches where its master goes runs ahead of its master and acts as if it led him there.
