Gematria of the abbreviation = 501, same as r'osh, she'ar, and Barack Hussein Obama (full spelling with the alef Obama between b and m).
Notice that the abbreviation uses only one letter (the bet for firstborn) from the name of the final plague, even though it is comprised of two words (plagues 1-9 are one word each). Here's the list:

The letter mem is not included. If it were included, the sum total would be 541 not 501. 541 is the gematria of Israel.
