Bill and Hillary Clinton actively campaigned for Chelsea’s MIL, but Marjorie Margolies lost her Democratic primary bid for Congress. Her opponent 37 y/o Brendan Boyle, a state legislator who raised the least amount of money and lacked powerful Democrat connections lead Margolies by a whopping 58.5% to 22.4%, per AP projections.
..... fem/libbers---EMILY’s List and NARAL Pro-Choice America---mounted attacks on Boyle’s anti-abortion voting record. He will face Republican Dee Adcock in the safe-Democratic district November.
Bill Clinton headlined a fundraiser, and made an ad, and a robo-call on Margolies' behalf. Hillary headlined a posh fundraiser, which the ex-congresswoman did not attend.
... one report exposed that Margolies “doubled her salary as head of a small, largely taxpayer-funded charity [Women's Campaign International] into the six figures” as her then-husband Ed Mezvinsky faced charges, and was ultimately convicted and jailed, for fraud while succumbing to multiple Nigerian scams.

Hillary appeared at the home of uber-rich Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a principle PUMA (and notorious Barack Obama trash-talker). Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel and Jill Iscol also made the scene.
Candidate Marjorie Margolies lost her Pennsylvania House seat in 1994, mostly a martyr for her defense of unpopular Clinton polices. She remained a Clinton intimate thereafter, including during the fraud conviction of her then-husband, former Democratic Rep. Edward Mezvinsky, D-Iowa. During the 2000s smart Dems politely declined BJ Clinton’s offer to campaign for them; those that accepted paid the price. The fact is that he has been toxic since the Monica Lewinsky story; it cost them Congress and the White House in 2000 (and Al Gore knew it).
Maybe Baby-killin’ isn’t as big a vote-getter as we’ve been led to believe.

"Pro-life Democrat" is a misnomer. He supported legislation requiring doctors in abortion clinic to have hospital privileges, and the clinics to meet medical clinic standards. That's a bit like saying Mr X must be against the death penalty, because he supported legislation requiring that guillotine blades be inspected for sufficient sharpness, and set up only by trained guillotiners.
She didn’t just loose but whopping big loss! Hillary has the weight to match that or become the whopping big -A looser!
