During the 2000s smart Dems politely declined BJ Clinton’s offer to campaign for them; those that accepted paid the price. The fact is that he has been toxic since the Monica Lewinsky story; it cost them Congress and the White House in 2000 (and Al Gore knew it).

I may be reading this wrong, but why would someone be jailed for succumbing to a scam? Wouldn’t the one succumbing be the same as the victim of a scam/fraud?
