That's a bit like saying Mr X must be against the death penalty, because he supported legislation requiring that guillotine blades be inspected for sufficient sharpness, and set up only by trained guillotiners.

It had the net effect of causing many abortionists to close, and the people voting on the legislation knew full well that this would be the effect.

It will be interesting how the November campaign is conducted. Will he proclaim himself pro-abortion?
