Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) defended her committee’s oversight of the CIA on Sunday, but at the same time, she called the House select committee on Benghazi a “lynch mob.”
“I think it’s ridiculous,” Feinstein told CNN’s “State of the Union” with Candy Crowley. “I think it’s a hunting mission for a lynch mob, actually. I think that's what's going on.”
Feinstein says she believes all questions about the Benghazi attack and its aftermath have been answered “to the satisfaction of the Intelligence Committee,” which she chairs.
She also compared the attack on Americans in Benghazi with the Reagan-era attack on the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut:
“If you compare it to Ronald Reagan, who is the big Republican hero, and what happened in Beirut, with three attacks, with 240 servicemen, with seven CIA officers, with one chief of station being tortured to death, and Reagan admitted we weren't ready for it -- well, since then, a lot of … things have been done. There were faults. The intelligence was there. Action should have been taken.”
Later in the interview, Crowley asked Feinstein about her strained relationship with the CIA:

“[W]hat I have to do is oversight,” Feinstein said. “I'm not there to be the most popular person in any building. It's to see that my committee is diligent, that we do the work of oversight, that when they're wrong, we do something about it. When there is something going on that shouldn't be, we do something about it.”
Obama surrendered at Benghazi. That’s why there was no rescue mission. He had already surrendered. That’s why there’s been no retaliatory military strike in Libya. Obama surrendered. That’s why American weapons, armored vehicles and night vision equipment were “lost” in Libya several months ago. That was part of the Obama surrender agreement. Wow, you know the Democrats are scared of this investigation when they’re already using incendiary language and throwing out the race card and Trey Gowdy has yet to ask his first question. Let the Democrats squirm. I love watching those people in a state of panic when they realize they’re in for a tough time. Who cares what DiFi or any California liberal says about anything. They’ve done enough damage to their own state and they have absolutely no credibility on any issue.
If she's a lawyer, she needs to go back to the College or University that conferred her degree and demand her money back.
Maybe all her questions were answered. Did she even ask a question, or did she make a speech during her time on the mike (Gawd, that isn't a pretty picture).
