Rep. Paul Broun: VA Scandal Shows Obama's 'Disdain' for Military

The mushrooming Veterans Affairs scandal is indicative of the Obama administration's "disdain" for the military, U.S. Rep. Paul Broun of Georgia believes.

"This administration seems to have a disdain, maybe even a hatred for the military, as well as our veterans," Broun told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newmax TV.

"Just from the military perspective, I was talking … to a three-star Army general. He didn't have enough rounds of ammunition for his troops to go out to the rifle range and just requalify with their rifles."

"I've talked to pilots who don't have enough fuel for their helicopters, their jet aircraft, and their transport aircraft to stay current. This is totally unacceptable, and the American people need to rise up and say no to this administration."

Doctors working at VA facilities in Phoenix say managers ordered them to place chronically ill patients on a secret waiting list.

I am in the VA system myself. I want to know why my physicals have been cut down to one a year, eighteen months ago, from two a year. I also want to know why they started to scan my Medicare Card when I fall under full reimbursement.

The Liberals Dims and the Libertarians in the GOP want to destroy the military, and thus the country. Making the VA just another political hit piece of the week accomplishes that goal.

As say the Veterans need to stand against the fools that both parties have put in office. I honestly can’t think of one that will support the military and the Vets when push comes to shove.

Dental story with VA.
Care has been excellent. Equipment state-of-the art. But..

I paid for my implant. Then decided to have VA do the crown.

First visit to VA dentist was August 30, 2013. They imaged/x-rayed my teeth.

Next appointment with VA dentist was November 26, 2013. Complete dental exam.

Next appointment with VA dentist was February 11, 2014. They measured implant and did a root canal on adjacent tooth. Installed temporary crowns.

Next VA appointment was May 14, 2014. They measured and made molds for permanent crowns. Installed new temporaries.

Next appointment with VA dentist is in September. Hopefully I’ll get crowns.

This money saving adventure will have taken over a year. My regular dentist told me he would take two weeks.

The problem appears to be not enough doctors. Doctors cost money. Blame Obama and Congress.

They are scanning Military ID at our inland Navy Base, BUPERS in Millington, TN. Even at Commissary they are swiping when you buy groceries. Exchange has not gone this route yet.

Private Hospitals and doctors have not gone this route yet, but will under 0’care. Why we still have paper SS and Medicare cards with NO PHOTO ID OR SECURITY IS STUPID.

VA is another issue more electronic surveillance and data MINING.

Was on the Midway when they pulled the Amb out of Nam, off the coast of Cuba for the Missile crisis, retired off the USS INCHON.

Thanks for the links. I'll check them out. Aside from palm greasing, obozo was the one who barred our WWII vets from seeing their Memorial. That was just a display of the ugly streak of hate within obozo for the military, and how he picks on the less defensive, to show them “who's boss.” Unlike Putin, the Russian Bear, who, with one paw, can slap obozo down and make a fool of him. Big, tough oboma, if only in HIS mind.

My thanks to your husband for his service to this country. My late husband was also a veteran. My prayer is that the military will be with us when We the People take down the big, strong, not so brave obozo from his throne in our White House.
