The mushrooming Veterans Affairs scandal is indicative of the Obama administration's "disdain" for the military, U.S. Rep. Paul Broun of Georgia believes.
"This administration seems to have a disdain, maybe even a hatred for the military, as well as our veterans," Broun told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newmax TV.
"Just from the military perspective, I was talking … to a three-star Army general. He didn't have enough rounds of ammunition for his troops to go out to the rifle range and just requalify with their rifles."
"I've talked to pilots who don't have enough fuel for their helicopters, their jet aircraft, and their transport aircraft to stay current. This is totally unacceptable, and the American people need to rise up and say no to this administration."
Doctors working at VA facilities in Phoenix say managers ordered them to place chronically ill patients on a secret waiting list.

I’m with you. We are voting for Dr. Broun in the primary but likely will have to vote for Handel in a runoff to keep Perdue from becoming Saxby’s 3rd term.
A lot of people don’t know that Paul Broun is active in the reserves and was over in Afghanistan last year treating wounded soldiers. He is the real meal deal.

Don't look for Congress.
This screams IMPEACHMENT to the highest rafters if only somebody had the cajones to put it in motion. Even if it didn’t result in a conviction it would certainly be a spot on Obama’s blue dress.
True, but we had the VFW, AMVETS, Legion, and DAV working with us also. The yelling starts at the family level but you have to network, I hate that term, there is help available if you want use it.
I understand there are many here with a visceral hatred of this administration which is deserved, however attacking the VA is simply wrong in my opinion.
I have zero confidence that any politician can make this fine system any better but I am 100% sure that if it becomes yet another political football it will become much worse.
Vets need to stand up for Vets, there is a problem in some facilities, and it needs to be fixed.
But I don't fall for the rhetoric of the idiot politician, they don't have the best interests of the Veteran in mind. It is about them and their reelection and I don't give a sh*t who anyone on this board supports because the fact is, the politicians whether Dim, GOPe or Tea Party are going to sell the Vets out.
