There’s no end to the outrageousness of what some God-not-fearing people will say when sufficiently compensated. When people with such bought-and-paid-for mendacity to spew are repeatedly invited to be heard on television programs—as is clearly the case in this instance—the producers of such programs are self-evidently sufficiently compensated to surrender their moral faculties in support of their masters. The same applies to those that sit by and voice no disagreement with such bile.

We’ll see more of that, and once it fails, they will accuse Trey Gowdy of crimes against political correctness (e.g., he once opposed human-goat marriage, and might have thought the N-word while a baby, even though he didn’t say it aloud). Then they will report minor side issues as if they were of world consequence while ignoring substance. Then, well, the evidence is not legitimate because the Dem’s aren’t a majority on the committee. Then Plan Z.
The best moves Gowdy could make would be to declare Pelosi’s threat to boycott his committee as a done deal, and close the bidding. The Dems want access to subpoenas, depositions, and documents so they can undermine testimony, warn/threaten witnesses, derail the facts, shape the media reaction with advanced warning, and delay everything. They would come crawling back once they realized they had thrown that away.
