Pasadena health director put on leave over controversial comments

Pasadena city officials placed Public Health Director Eric Walsh on temporary paid administrative leave Thursday after they learned of controversial statements he had made about homosexuality and evolution in online videos and audio clips.

In sermons uploaded to various websites, Walsh, a Seventh-day Adventist preacher, calls evolution "a religion created by Satan," compares Disney to a "dark empire" of superstition and witchcraft, and criticizes homosexuality.

Just what is “social justice”, exactly? It is an attempt to make justice subjective instead of objective, where the standards of behavior are “nuanced” instead of definitive. It is where rappers can use the word nigger so often they wear it out but if a Caucasian even utters the word, he has commtited raciss transgression.

Social justice is also a way to create a code of human behavior that can be changed at the whim of those in control of society. At its core, it stands in opposition to the Ten Commandments because two of the Ten protect property (coveting and theft) and one of the tenants of social justice is the redistribution of wealth to the end goal of imposing socialism.

Social justice seeks to speak truth to power, yet when that truth is contrary to a goal of social justice, that truth must be suppressed. We only have to look at the issue of human-caused climate change to see this point in action.

Socialism is often overtly supported by advocates of social justice. It is a system that demands we each live at the expense of everyone else. To justify its imposition, government must institutionalize lies, coveting and theft.

All of these aspects of social justice are morally corrupting and always end in abject failure, often accompanied by the shedding of much blood. In three years we will see the 100th anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution, an event that lead to the deaths of well over 50 million people and the invention of the term “democide”, or the wholesale murder of citizens by their own government. This revolution was justified mainly on the grounds of “social justice”.

Anyone who advocates social justice is either naive or evil. Both Stalin and Lenin called their supporters “useful idiots”, although this is disputed by some researchers.

The upshot is, is that he was chosen as a replacement commencement speaker for the local university, after the original speaker was cut because they found pictures of him and his boyfriend online. The university was recently involved in scandal due to porn stars being allowed to lecture at the school. So the gay mafia students and faculty went digging into the replacement’s past and found the videos of him preaching the truth. Now, he’s been dropped as the replacement commencement speaker and the gay mafia students want to ask the first guy back.

Walsh said these things as a pastor, acting in his private capacity as such and not as a public official, was he not? Whatever his personal religious beliefs and personal opinions are, including that “Catholicism was created by Satan”, this evidently didn’t have any effect on him doing his job unless he fired all the Catholics in his department and shut down all the Catholic churches for health code violations. He also served “under the current and previous White House Administrations on the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS” so unless in that capacity he was advising them to let the sinners die and let God sort them out later….

OTOH - Dr. Walsh according to his biography is: “a sought after speaker on issues related to social justice, social determinants of health, spirituality and health and maternal/child health issues among other topics. He is dedicated to serving the residents through public health practices and policy development that increases the ability for individuals to attain health and wellness.”

He (as Dr. and Pastor Walsh) is also a promoter of the idea that white “racism” is a public health issue – and is responsible for disease among minorities:

Here he promotes not eating meat and meat products including cheese and milk and eggs and a whole lot of other scientific nonsense speaking as both a “doctor” and a public health official and a Seventh Day Adventist pastor.

But here he promotes allowing backyard chickens, is all for raising chickens and their eggs for a healthy food source as a good thing as it is an issue for “social justice” and doesn’t say anything about not eating meat because it is “Biblical” as he claims in the previous video. He also describes himself as a “radical” and that in college people used to call him “X” as in Malcom X and he seems rather proud of that. He’s also a radical environmentalist and for “food justice” and “climate justice” whatever that is.

Before y’all think he is some sort of “conservative” Christian “martyr” and want to defend him on that assumption, just keep in mind that he is also a big time liberal.

And why am I’m guessing that Dr. Walsh was an affirmative action hire. And I guess his organic free range backyard chickens are coming home to roost. He said all the “right” things for the liberal LA crowd until it came to light what he said about the Gay’s and he dared compared Disney to a "dark empire". (FWIW, he also thinks that watching movies like Star Wars and other sci-fi movies let in the Devil but in his capacity as a public health official, he’ll let you go to those movies as long as you don’t eat any junk foods). LOL!
