ObamaCare is already creating one class of care for the poor and middle class and another for the affluent.
One will be for the poor and middle class, and a separate system will be for those with the money or power to circumvent ObamaCare.
The hidden truth is just around the cornerthose more dependent on public insurance, mostly the poor and middle class, will have limited access to medical care. About one-third of primary-care physicians and one-fourth of specialists have already completely closed their practices to Medicaid patients. Over 52% of physicians have already limited the access that Medicare patients have to their practices, or are planning to, according to a 2012 survey by Merritt Hawkins for the Physicians Foundation. More doctors than ever already refuse Medicaid and Medicare due to inadequate payments for care, and that trend will only accelerate as government lowers reimbursements.
At the same time, ObamaCare is squeezing out the middle class from affordable private insurance that correlates with far better disease outcomes than government insurance. By bloating coverage requirements and minimizing the consideration of risks fundamental to pricing insurance, the law has already increased premiums by 20%-200% in more than 40 states, according to a 2013 analysis by the Manhattan Institute's Avik Roy and others.

No matter how much they are deceived, I can’t see the American people ever figuring out what is what.
Coming?
The left wants a “two-tiered” everything.
They’re feudalists. They want to be the nobility with special privileges, and the rest of everyone living as peasants.
It’s funny, though, that every leftist thinks that he will be part of the nobility and not the peasantry.
All by design, Comrade. All. By. Design.
Bring on the Single-Payer Government Run Healthcare! Let’s just get it OVER with, already!
Am I the only one here who has REALLY started to take her health seriously as of late? I have always been healthy as a horse, but to be pro-active, I’ve given up alcohol, I am losing weight, I am sleeping more (mainly because I’m so friggin’ DEPRESSED about the state of our Nation), taking supplements, drinking more water, back to power walking again, etc.
I am currently negotiating health care issues for Dear Old Dad and trust me - it is NO FUN getting ANYTHING paid for through Medicare. I’m pretty sure it’s not going to get any easier from here on out. Grrrr!
Canada did its version of Obamacare in the late 1960’s. It was rolled out province by province. Eventually most Doctors decided they would opt out since it did not work for either them OR their patients.
1984, enter the Canada Health act! The purpose was to drive the physicians back to the government. This is what awaits America. It is a system where everyone LOSES!
“Its funny, though, that every leftist thinks that he will be part of the nobility and not the peasantry.”
Think the term you are looking for is “useful idiots.”
Exactly my point!
That’s how they set up the education system so the same pattern appears again.
It’s worse than that.
Even within Obamacare there is a caste system, demarcated by metallic names: bronze, silver, gold, platinum. Very few doctors and hospitals accept bronze plans.
Some pigs are more equal than others.
Never forget that it was Rats alone who passed this abomination AGAINST the will of the American people. Support for Obamacare was never above about 32% while the Rats were scheming.
Yep. They already see themselves as being better than the peasantry.
Tier 1: People who have the money to pay for whatever they need.
Tier 2: Everyone else
It's getting more difficult to find the information, but one has to take responsibility for themselves. Natural healing (ie: relaxation and time to heal), first aid, nutrition, being able to diagnose things and know what home and over-the-counter remedies there are, staying healthy....it's all part of surviving today's lack of trustworthy medical care.
I've seen too many cases where doctors have solved one problem, only to make it worse or to replace it with something else like drug reactions or a wrecked immune system.
Rich people can afford better everything. That’s simple economics. If you find yourself in the wrong “tier”, whether it be your car, your house, or your healthcare, work harder to earn more money.
HOW are you losing weight? I’m 67; have struggled with the “weight” thing for years and more and more can’t seem to do much about it. I’ve given up weighing as it is so derned depressing. - To make matters worse, three of the kids (nieces) in our family had plastic saline-filled bags inserted in their chests, so it gets to where one wonders, what’s the use. Also, how can they afford all these thousands of dollars for that surgery. Not that I’m trying to compete with them; - I don’t smoke and try to eat right, walk a little now that winter’s winding down. Jumping in bed and covering up my head is the most tempting solution I’ve heard about lately. :o/
I thought they were going to divide them into those that receive medical treatment and those that don’t.../s
Yes, already here. I'm paying out of pocket to see the specialist I want even though I have medicare plus a supplemental policy.
