Retired Lt. Col.: My Sources Say Obama Was in the Room Watching Benghazi Attack Happen

Retired Army Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer said Saturday he has sources saying President Barack Obama was in the room at the White House watching the assault on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya unfold.

Two unarmed U.S. drones were dispatched to the consulate and recorded the final hours of the attack, which killed U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.

“This was in the middle of the business day in Washington, so everybody at the White House, CIA, Pentagon, everybody was watching this go down,” Shaffer said on Fox News’ “Justice with Judge Jeanine.” “According to my sources, yes, [Obama] was one of those in the White House Situation Room in real-time watching this.”

Shaffer said the question now is what precisely Obama did or didn’t do in the moments he saw the attack unfolding. The CIA reportedly made three urgent requests for military backup that were each denied.

“He, only he, could issue a directive to Secretary of Defense Panetta to do something. That’s the only place it could be done,”

In that paragraph Obama shows no outrage of the terrorist attack but a greater desire to protect Muslims. Its not surprising that Obama did nothing on 9/11/12. He didn't want to upset Muslims.

Politicians evaluate things politically --I think that as things were Of High Moment that day after 5 pm Obama was pondering How Public all these events would become:

"Will there simply be a foreign policy failure? Or instead will a very major Arms Smuggling Scandal come to light, with hearings with stern Senators rattling papers in front of cameras, and witnesses telling heart-rending stories in excruciating detail....?"

"Will these 40 folks here in the field die, OR will there be a very major political scandal that lays low my whole Administration...?"

I don't think the President wished ILL upon any of those guys at all, but out of political expedience that night it really would have been best if they had all Gone Away --that is, if they all had died and could therefore not ever testify.

Obama visited the State Department at 10:50 AM on 9/12 after giving a press statement in the Rose Garden about the 9/11 attack (10:35 AM 9/12).

He left for Vegas later that day.

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said last week the military did not intervene because they did not have enough information about what was happening on the ground.

I've a theory that the plan was for Stevens to be kidnapped then, immediately preceding the election, trade the Blind Sheikh for him.

In which case, there would've been no resistance...and a pre-aware Obama definitely would've been among the viewers in the Situation Room.

However, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods left the Annex and mounted a resistance -- disobeying their orders to do so. As the violence mounted, Stevens was killed -- and the plan was aborted.

The cover-up was hatched immediately...and on short notice.

That was my theory from the start too..because remember before all this happened there were rumors about Obama possibly handing over the Blind Sheikh and the State Department was asked about it and they denied it..I always believed that was the motive for what happened in Benghazi, it was going to be a Stevens for Blind Sheikh swap..in some weird way if that went down I guess Obama would have thought himself to be a hero who saved an Ambassador’s life and he would win a 2nd term..but his plans were derailed when the other three brave Americans showed up to help, Obama and his cronies were NOT expecting that so I think at some point Obama said “F it let them all die” that is what I believe happened and I have always believed that

I remember "Treason is the Reason" when Bill Clinton and Al Gore were in charge of our country and I commented he was a "Commanderless in Chief" and it was supposedly because they were selling secrets to China. I thought at that time according to our Constitution that a president could be tried for treason and that our military were to put the president on trial and if found guilty of treason, that person would be put to death. Man, was I surprised when the Secret Service came to my house and many on the forum here knew me as "Grassontop".

Unfortunately, we now have another "Commanderless in Chief" in our White House, and it sickens me to see a treasoness president ruining our country. May God have mercy on our United States of America!
