Three people were killed and at least 14 others were wounded in shootings since Friday evening in the city.
No one is in custody for any of the shootings as Area detectives investigate.

I wonder how that compares to the STATE of Arizona over the same period.
Probably a fair comparison with comparable populations and a night and day difference in gun laws.

Sounds about right. 6 out of 7 people shot with handguns typically survive. (14% or so die). IIRC last weekend Chicago was running a little behind that. Must have practiced at the range. 3 out of 17 is what, 17%? Good thing they have all those strict laws...
