More than 160 inmates in five Colorado prisons are sick with a mysterious virus. The virus is affecting prisons in Denver, Pueblo, Buena Vista, and Canon City. Because of the illness all inmate visits at the Denver Womens, La Vista, and Fremont correctional facilities have been canceled. The Department of Corrections says the inmates who are sick have been experiencing flu-like symptoms.

Shouldn’t be too hard to figure out...
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
There is a really nasty flu virus circulating in the Northwest right now. It can cause pneumonia and lasts for a couple weeks.
Two weeks? I had it for five, got over it a bit more than a month ago, and my lungs still ain’t right.
Captain Trips?
With jet travel, it will spread very quickly.
Be sure to cough and spit up a few loogies before, during, and after one of those TSA patdowns. At least the TSA will think twice about getting up close and personal.
If they detain you, just tell them it’s nothing to worry about and that you are on your way to an Obamma fund raiser.
Anytime you touch any object touched by others in public areas, wash your hands with a bit of soap. Most important, is not to touch your face before washing hands. Since I started doing this, colds, flu and other viruses have not zapped me. Just came back from a 3 week cruise and never got hit by noro-virus. Ships have hand cleaner everywhere now-a-says.
Hope to God that isn’t what I’ve been hit with. Had it for a week now. Still don’t feel that much better.
Bad meat?
Marijuana Blight.
Mysterious virus? Isn’t it called chlamydia or HIV after they rape each other?
Yes, wash your hands after shopping and using the grocery store carts. Avoid Wal*Mart carts as no across the counter soaps seem to kill those bacteria. Wal*Mart today, diarrhea tomorrow is my experience. Old folks like me have weakened immune systems, so we are more susceptible to infection than younger folks.
or’planned false flag biomed disaster to allow’obama to fire up a few dictatorial executive orders.
Upon entering Walmart or any grocery store, first thing to do is to use those wipes placed near cart area and wipe the handle properly.
Not every store provides wipes, but when they do I use them.
And be sure to get a flu shot, pneumonia shot when appropriate, hepatitis shot when appropriate, etc.
Or, carry your own wipes for your hands and the shopping cart handles. Better safe than sorry.
