This has been an ongoing issue and GOP leadership has been completely MIA.
Talk about an oxymoron.
Judging by those dates, it looks like this is more stupidity from the Bush family.
The answer is the decision that Obama will take.
?
IIRC, we had a joint venture with the military not too far back....in the US proper.
Considering the treaty allows over flights of almost the entire former Soviet Union by United States surveillance aircraft, it makes me wonder what rationale is being pushed for breaking this treaty.
Yep.
see my post at 10
Its all part of 0’s “flexibility”.
Scary is that back then protection of the “environment” was seen as an eventual extension of the treaty.
“Envisaging the possible extension of the Open Skies regime into additional fields, such as the protection of the environment,”

Good Lord. . .
This administration is determined to provoke a war.
“GOP leadership
Talk about an oxymoron.”
“When someone says to you, “Lead, follow or get out of the way”, you’re not supposed to get out of the way. It’s supposed to make you lead!”
Sgt. to Private Not Sure, `Idiocracy’
In Private GOP’s defense, he’s perfectly willing to follow, on Obama’s flexibility, taxing, spending, amnesty, “reasonable” gun control, etc.
Seems like they would fly down the west coast.
They’re afraid one of their drones that’s spying on the government will crash into one of our government’s drones that’s spying on the citizens.
Yes...HW Bush in 1992, and then ratified by the Senate in 2002.
How absolutely insane and crazy can we be?
We have the ability to conduct such surveillance to other potential adversary nations without a treaty...and then turn around and give them the right to do the same thing...something they could otherwise not do, by treaty?
A strategic advantage simply given away whole cloth.
We have long had leadeship in this country who are abetting with and in bed with our adversaries.
But, IMHO, none worse than, or more blatant about it, than the current occupant of the White House.
..... and their globalist NWO dreams.
