Star Trek actress Kate Mulgrew denies willing involvement in geocentrism documentary

As Star Trek: Voyager Captain Kathryn Janeway, Kate Mulgrew knew her way around a solar system or two. So there was a certain irony to the actress voiceover work in the upcoming documentary The Principle, which focuses on the notion of geocentrism: the idea that the sun revolves around the Earth.
But Mulgrew has dispelled the notion that she buys into the documentarys central premise, writing in a post on her Facebook page that she is not a geocentrist, nor am I in any way a proponent of geocentrism.
I was a voice for hire, and a misinformed one, at that, Mulgrew clarifies in the post about her involvement with the documentary, directed by Catholic author and theologian Robert Sungenis. I apologize for any confusion that my voice on this trailer may have caused.

I was just a brain for hire all these years. Who knew I was prostituting myself. I'm so ashamed.

Science isn't religion. A model that allows you to make useful calculations is a valid model.
Heliocentricity is equally irrational, except for those with a religious faith in it.

You left something out.
The earth is held up be four elephants which are standing on the back of a turtle.
You got the rest of it right, though - it is all turtles the rest of the way down.

All of which may be as equally true as untrue. But bull remains bull until properly treated.

Calm down and stop shouting at me. I quit the biz years ago too. I assume you left the biz because you weren’t professional in your demeanor, assuming you screamed at people back then as well. It’s bad for business.
Professionals don’t act that way, and voices are a dime a dozen.

Werner Klemperer, a German Jew, reportedly said in response to questions about his playing a Nazi officer, "I'm an actor," meaning I take work when I can get it.
Actually, I think it helped that Klink and Schultz were utter fools who always lost to the Americans.

Almost all the actors that portrayed Germans on Hogan’s Heroes were Jewish.

To call her a Startrek captain is also something of a stretch. She never really made the grade and killed the franchise

Something of a tradition of that in Star Fleet. Kirk did it to win the Kobayashi Maru Scenario.

The fact you or I were in "the biz" (which no one really called it then) years ago does not mean either you or I were "professionals" or part of some sisterhood then or now. So, your only valid demand is that I not shout at you in my postings. Fair enough request.

Correct. I don’t like being shouted at in posts.
