...Ortega explained, "Because if the whole world, or the whole United States, would have smoked cannabis freely like alcohol is consumed, I believe that we would all be so much more intelligent beings, and the government knows that. That's why it's illegal, because if we were all more intelligent as a whole it would be harder to deceive us. So they just keep marijuana illegal because they know there will always be a population that will follow the rules."

Very informative and well-researched article.
Lucky no one uses tobacco anymore, it damages the lungs and mouth.
Far better, in this age of Democrat ascendancy, to use marijuana and dissolve your brain; assuming you have one to begin with.
This guy has to be high while typing this to believe this ridiculous bovine excrement...
“Lucky no one uses tobacco anymore, it damages the lungs and mouth. Far better, in this age of Democrat ascendancy, to use marijuana and dissolve your brain; assuming you have one to begin with.”.
At least it wouldn’t show that your brain (if there was one) was dissolved. (liberal logic)
You don’t think better stoned, you just think, you think better stoned...
A friend of Bill Cosby told him that smoking pot “enhances one’s personality”.
Cosby says, “yeah but what if one’s already an ass hole”?
The plan was to abandon the car in DC, call it in stolen and immediately take a freight train back to Idaho where investigators would definitely come asking about the car. It would be like he never left home. The only reason he was caught is he didn't change clothes and a person who takes photos of trains as a hobby happened to be FBI and noticed him in a photo on a train.
It exposed the joke our agencies would be against a real threat.
If we were all more intelligent as a whole, it would be harder to deceive us.
That part of his statement I agree with. I don’t agree that folks need to smoke pot to become more intelligent.
Dude you just totally blew my mind, I mean, it’s like.
Is there anything to eat?
I support the legalization of marijuana however, if for no other reason than to eliminate further justification of a militarized domestic police force.
Mind your language please; there are ladies present.
I got a short listen to a caller on either Medved or Prager, who espoused this viewpoint. He was ridiculous!
Are you with the language police.
The word I used was “ass”. Some people are asses.
Well it’s been been a while. After 2 years of medicating myself, I’ve gone from 8 hours of fitful sleep, to 4 hours of restless sleep a night. Last night I got 3 1/2 hours as any semblance to a proper circadian rhythm is gone.
The muscle spasms are back as well as the nausea and I suspect my eyesight is degenerating again as I strain to read the 50” monitor 3 feet away.
On the other hand, my short term memory is recovering. I’m not talking about the short term like “what did I do last week”. I’m talking about “WTFrack was I thinking about a moment ago”.
I’ve kept a list of *epiphanies* I’ve had while influenced, and I do enjoy reviewing it during the down time. Here’s a gem (not in the vain sense) from the Political Thriller I often dream about writing.
“Senator Brackmire, “Well he’s just a political fluffer, he goes out and gets the people all hard, hot and hard”.
If you know who I’m talking about, please shoot me a message cause I’ve no clue. Many of the others I would be embarrassed to present.
I did’t stop because I didn’t like it or felt it wasn’t helping. I stopped because I couldn’t get a consistent strain and quality, being in an non MMJ state I’m subject to whats available. I need a great quality Indica/Sativa strain with around 65% Indica. An oz in about 2-3 months works out to about 150-200 a month.
Too much Indica and I’m locked on the couch watching Family guy. To much Sativa and I get anxiety and paranoia. So for me I need about a 2/3 Indica and 1/3 Sativa and no ruderalis in the mix.
I know what the guy is talking about, he calls it intelligence, but it’s not. It’s a feeling of insightfulness. You know, like when you look at the word “The” and have to google it to make sure you spelled it correctly.
I think MMJ is perfect for people over 50+ who have the attitude of Dennis Miller. “Just take what you want, but leave me alone” attitude towards the government.
Oh yea, Dennis Miller is great when your high, or sober. I remember when he was a Democrat.
On further reflection, I’m sorry I offended you.
Ortega explained and it went down hill from that point.
Duuude. Where's that stoned "Wait ... whut?" kitty pic when you need it, lol?
it intensifies your personality, man.
I didn’t click out to read the article (I usually don’t; if the article can’t be posted to be read within FR I’m generally not interested in wasting my time on the other website with all the annoying ads and download delays).
That said, the excerpt from the article doesn’t seem in any way related to the title of the article. Did some pothead try to kill obama? If so, is it somehow related to the postulation of some other idiot that the government keeps pat banned because it doesn’t want the citizens to become too intelligent?
