Now the family of one of the dead robbers wants justice. They got justice. Let it be a warning to others.

What these people are saying in this case and in the Trayvon Martin case, and in all their anti-SYG rhetoric is that
they want “their people” to be able to commit crimes of theft and violence without YT being able to legally resist.

This kind of stuff goes on in the Marxist city of New York all the time, the case of Bernie Goetz being the most well known where eventually a judgement of $42 MILLION dollars was found against him. To date I don’t think he’s a paid a dime of it. But this kind of crap goes on all the time - guy defends himself, the robbers family or even the robber himself sues, the case gets tried in the Bronx because they are bias as hell, and they robber gets awarded a ton of money.

If it was to go to court, the honest citizen should counter sue the parents for raising a child that would steal and for emotional stress for having to kill someone to save his own life.

Since the lawsuit is not allowed, I wonder if he could file a “barratry” charge against any lawyer willing to represent them?
“Barratry - 18 Pa. Cons. Stat. § 5109 - A person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree if he vexes others with unjust and vexatious suits.
“Third-degree misdemeanor. Up to one year of incarceration and no more than $2,500 in fines.”

The lawsuit is not allowed under Pennsylvania law.Same for Florida. Depending on the county, you might get a parade though. Not in my county but they'd know enough to just shut up. I think.

Stand your ground laws are essentially tort reform to stop this absurd lawsuits.
The only reason these cases have any life in courts is because the judges HATE self help by citizens. If citizens protect themselves who needs judges?

To: marktwain
the families of the dead robbers can still file their paperwork. This means the honest citizen will still have to respond in some way. He may rack up legal fees while the courts move to dismiss the case.
Why on earth would he have to lift a finger if the state of Pennsylvania doesn't allow such suits?

Why is this a story? A gunman who is shot in the act has no standing to sue under PA law. Once again, the media proves to be the villain.
