Sad but true, this is the way it works in the United States. Two men entered a convenience store, pointed their guns at the clerk, and robbed the store. As they exited the store, an armed citizen confronted them. The robbers pointed their guns at the honest citizen and he shot and killed both of them.
Now the family of one of the dead robbers wants justice. They want to sue the honest citizen. And leave it to the media to give the families of armed robbers a forum.
In what has become a cliché, the mother of an armed robber takes to the airwaves to say, He was a good boy. This family then has the nerve to say the robbers didnt deserve to be shot; that an honest citizen had no right to fire at two boys who pointed their guns at him. The family then goes on to say that while their boy was a known drug user, he likely only robbed the store so he could get money to pay his child support. It is a seven-minute video, but it should make your blood boil:
And Now They Want to Sue

Yes !!!!!
We need new laws on the books allowing these people spewing out this human debris to be sued for damages and jailed!!!!
One of my coworkers just had a gun to his head 2 nights ago.
For $10
He carries 3 knives now because co. policy wont allow a gun carried by employees.
We are getting many new residents here from detroit.
Wonder why?
What these people are saying in this case and in the Trayvon Martin case, and in all their anti-SYG rhetoric is that
they want “their people” to be able to commit crimes of theft and violence without YT being able to legally resist.
I wonder why noone sells insurance to cover legal bills incurred during self defense actions?
Any insurance guys out there ?
Ill sell the stuff....no problem...tour the gun shows selling insurance....I will get it done.
Right after they get their drug stash from the community organizer who convinced them to sue.
If they manage to sue, they should lose, end up paying all the court and legal costs, and spend the next twenty five years on a chain gang.
If Obongo had TWO sons!
I wonder if LegalZoom has a $25 form for “Safe Harbor Dismissal”?
My heart really goes out to Convenience Store clerks, where I live now, it’s not much sweat but where I grew up, those places got knocked over all the time.
The families of the criminals likely have no money to take. Justice would be the scum lawyer losing everything he has and the parents being billed the cost of the bullet.
This kind of stuff goes on in the Marxist city of New York all the time, the case of Bernie Goetz being the most well known where eventually a judgement of $42 MILLION dollars was found against him. To date I don’t think he’s a paid a dime of it. But this kind of crap goes on all the time - guy defends himself, the robbers family or even the robber himself sues, the case gets tried in the Bronx because they are bias as hell, and they robber gets awarded a ton of money.
Scum! More of the “shows me the money” bunch. Sad that Sabrina, the biological mother, dumped the kid. The real woman that tried to raise Trayvon, was shoved aside. Crip daddy needs to be disabused of his scam in a way that makes a permanent impression.
Here in Ga, a shoplifter was banned from Walmart and showed up to shoplift some more. She was recognized and chased by someone in law enforcement. Not remembering all the details but she got in her car with her shoplifting buddies and I think drove toward the law enforcement officer. He ended up clinging to her door and she was driving erratically. He shot her and killed her. Her ‘friends’ said instead of shooting her, he should have shot in the air ‘to scare her’ and she would have stopped.
Idiots.
(alternative thought) Justice would be the scum lawyer losing everything he has and the parents being kicked out of a huey at 3000 ft.
Did they have budding rap careers too?
If it was to go to court, the honest citizen should counter sue the parents for raising a child that would steal and for emotional stress for having to kill someone to save his own life.
“He needs to sue the state for not taking better care of its dependents.”
Don’t forget the greedy lawyer that most likely solicited
the family and pushed the case in the first place. The
lawyer is lowest of the bunch.
Since the lawsuit is not allowed, I wonder if he could file a “barratry” charge against any lawyer willing to represent them?
“Barratry - 18 Pa. Cons. Stat. § 5109 - A person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree if he vexes others with unjust and vexatious suits.
“Third-degree misdemeanor. Up to one year of incarceration and no more than $2,500 in fines.”
