The White House on Friday touted the story of a staunch Republican who says hes getting the best coverage hes ever had under ObamaCare.
I am a staunch Republican, a self-proclaimed Fox News addict, and I didn't vote for the President, Mark Beard, a retired psychologist from North Carolina, wrote in a letter posted on the White House website. And I'm here to tell you that ObamaCare works. I'm living proof.
Beard said he was paying $428 a month for chemotherapy treatment and was upset when he got a notice from his insurer saying his plan would be canceled. But he said the plan he obtained through HealthCare.gov is now only costing him $62 a month. It's the best health care I have ever had, he said.
I may not be a supporter of the President. But now, I get mad when I see ObamaCare dragged through the mud on television, he continued. And even though I regularly tune in to conservative pundits, I'd like to tell them they're getting it wrong. ObamaCare works.

What does “playing the Moby” mean?
Psychologist = Crap shooter
This fits in with the Saul Alinsky approach.
I know but if you go to the Facebook page of Mark Bearden you will see where he talks about being called by zero asking him to use his letter about how Obamacr#p has been so wonderful. Not saying this is the same guy because it’s all lies anyway!
Trust us, would we lie to you - oh wait th White house said that never mind.
Commies
Hey, hey, hey! Be careful when using my “handle”!
Thanks
The text overlay is a graphic — not text — so the typo didn’t get spell-checked. There is also a grammatical error in there as well.
Yes, it is all lies, but now I think I'll go harass the Hill for getting the name wrong. :-)
If that is your real name.
This may be the funniest thing I have ever read on this site.
The search turned up 23 results. The search can be narrowed to 9 "possible" results based on age.
However, of those persons whose age is known, none is of official retirement age.
There is a MARK ALAN BEARD - 55 Years Old, in Huntsville. There is a MARK THOMAS BEARD - 50 Years Old in Matthews, NC, (who uses a deceased individual's SSN, "which 'does not usually indicate fraud")
There is a MARK DEAN BEARD - 55 Years Old, but he last lived in NC in 1997. He lives in Indiana now.
There is a DONALD MARCUS BEARD - 58 Years Old, but in his email addresses he goes by, "don.beard".
There is a JEFFREY MARK BEARD - 54 Years Old in Huntersville, NC.
There is a MARK TYLER BEARD, DOB unknown, Greenville, NC who could be related to a MARK TYLER BEARD, 33 Years Old in NYC., and a Dan Edward Beard Age: 61
There is a MARK BEARD, DOB Unknown, who also last lived in NC in 1997, who probably either is or is related to the MARK DEAN BEARD listed above.
And last, there is a MARK AARON BEARD, who lived in NC at one time but now lives in Oregon.
Based on my experience using this database, my conjecture is that the MARK TYLER BEARD, DOB unknown, Greenville, NC, above is the only possible candidate because he might be old enough to be the father of the 33 year-old namesake who lives in NYC. If I had to locate the White House-purported Mark Beard to, for example, serve him papers, this person would be where I would start.
I do not have any information on occupations or former occupations.
While we all know the that the White House would never fabricate anything </hurl> a fabrication by a Democrat operative is certainly not out of the question.
Cordially,
Mark Beard? I thought that Michelle was Obama’s beard.
I’ll bet this is Obama’s pet name for his gay lover.
'Mark' - the target of the con
'Beard' - the shill used to gain legitimacy.
sorry, i wouldnt have guessed in a million years that someone had that as a username. :)
When I read the title, I thought (as one who has handled lots of bat guano) I was going to take offense too.
However, in reading about Mark Beard...... I call..... BAT GUANO!!!
“But he said the plan he obtained through HealthCare.gov is now only costing him $62 a month. It’s the best health care I have ever had, he said.”
He must’ve had some pretty lousy policies then. The copays and deductibles are rather high.
If he loves his premium, then he is being subsidized. He’s hardly a conservative if he’s bragging about it.
Try Mark Bearden. That’s the guy on FB who admits he wrote the letter. Find out all you can on him so we can expose this story as another White House lie.
I don’t care who you are, that there is funny.
