It’s as though this guy is sure he can buy the election—but he wants to pick out who the candidate is, too. IOW, he’s getting an early start.

The GOP needs someone who supports American businesses.

American.

Bring back American jobs.

What I’m NOT reading into his outreach is recognition of the prevailing wind. With significant tailwinds for 2016, this is the time to promote, help and elect a true Conservative. That is the only way to rectify the wrongs of 8 years, and hopefully much more than 8 years, of failed liberalism. There were strong headwinds in 2008; a decent tailwind in 2012 but only a weak candidate trying feebly to ride it... now we have a jet-stream level tailwind for 2012. We need to reach for a Reaganesque candidate and ride it.

Of those mentioned, I would only consider Scott Walker.

Too bad he still has a fortune left after foisting Romney on the GOP last time. Maybe he isn’t paying enough in taxes since he still loves Big Government Lite.

As smart as Adelson is about casino operations, doesn’t he understand that a “mainstream” repub will never win? He should put his money into supporting Conservatives.

How many articles from the CompPost do you ever see mentioning we need a “more mainstream Democrat”? The rats can nominate the most wildly extreme leftest but the CompPost never says anything about that. They are only concerned about moderate Republicans.

They have to keep in mind that the Dems may NOT let Hillary have the nomination, as they did not in 2008. If the Dems field a youthful, charismatic nominee again, he/she would have a field day against a GOP old hack politician.

One website recently had a poll with some 23 GOP names on it. Most of those wouldn’t get 10% of the primary vote, much less win a national election.

We have already seen hints from several of the 2008/2012 GOP retreads that they are considering another run.

Adelson is a seriously bad person. He is a self described liberal who stated that he only became a Republican because he wanted to pay less money to his employees. He openly admits that his first loyalty is to a country other than America. He is fanatically obsessed with promoting amnesty, open borders and trying to drive down wages for American workers.

Adelson’s money is one of the main reasons why the GOPe is pro-amnesty and liberal leaning in general.

The GOP will not be healed until it expels Adelson and people like him and refuses to take their money.
