It can be bought on the Internet in flavors like chocolate and bubble gumand just a teaspoon could kill a child: The New York Times takes a look at liquid nicotine, the e-liquid used in e-cigarettes, which it describes as a "powerful neurotoxin ... far more dangerous than tobacco." And with good reason: Reports of accidental liquid nicotine poisonings rose 300% from 2012 to 1,351 cases last year, with 2014's figure expected to be double that.
The victims, many children under the age of four, can experience vomiting and seizures after being exposed to even a modest amount orally or through the skin.
The Minneapolis Star Tribune notes that the bottles often convey their flavors with potentially enticing photos of fruits or chocolate, which could attract youngsters; teens, on the flip side, may be combining it with energy drinks to get high, per Fox News Insider.
"It's not a matter of if a child will be seriously poisoned or killed. It's a matter of when," says a director with California's Poison Control System.

Once again, spouting things of which you know nothing.
Here’s some data ...
60 milligrams (one drop) would kill you instantly. The LD/50 (lethal dose) for humans is .9 mg nicotine/ 1 kg of body weight. It would take approx. 45 mg for a 110 lb person or approx. 115 mg for a 285 lb person. Death could be in as little as seconds due to respiratory failure. Very large doses in relation to body weight have been described as near instantaneous.
Fixed it. :)
We see that every time one of these topics come up. We have these people who agree that homosexuality is normal and not harmful to anyone screaming bloody murder and spouting all kinds of untruths about people who enjoy tobacco products.
Talk about ungracious.

And what I’m pointing out is that due to the way fumes work the fumes WON’T kill you. If the fumes were enough to kill you smoking would do it, because guess that that is: fumes. No people doing their own mixing aren’t talking about killing concentrations, especially NOT at the fumes level. Once it goes fumes the concentration drops dramatically, because it doesn’t all boil at the same time and you’re spreading the same number of molecules over a much higher volume (the whole 1cc of water becomes a lot more than 1cc of steam thing we should all remember from high school).
I don’t care if you want to play with it or not, but when you start saying people shouldn’t play with it because you’re very bad at basic science I’m going to point out that you’re very bad at basic science.
You can fiddle with those concentrations that will kill people in a room from the fumes themselves - if you want (and it will be your last time ... :-) ... ) — but I’m staying away from it 100%
It ranges from from a few drops killing you, to just one drop killing you, to fumes killing you — all on the basis of concentration levels — ranging from a 10 or 20% level to a 80% or more.
Here’s a highly concentrated form ...

Oh my. Did I fail to genuflect enough for you?
It would seem to me that a whole room of consensual e-smokers could just vaporize this stuff in the room and forget their individual e-ciggies.
I don't know where you got your liberal information from but it's bogus.........,
I think you've been reading too many e-cig forums. Nicotine is highly addictive. This fact is well established science. Tobacco smoking is also highly addictive because smokers become addicted to their smoking behaviors and rituals. There are other addiction promoting substances in cigarettes besides nicotine, that is true, but nicotine is the main culprit. Smoking can be a bio-behavioral addiction.
Nicotine easily circulates throughout the blood and into the brain. It reaches the brain just seconds after inhaling, and only a few cigarettes can create symptoms of dependence. Many studies have shown nicotine to be more addicting than alcohol and cocaine. Not everyone becomes addicted however, and there are people who are able to quit cold turkey without any problem. But that only applies to a small percentage of people. Your post is wishful thinking, but you can find just about anything you want to find on the internet.
I can't even bear to think what harm a thimbleful would do to my beloved cat Missy. Pets' rights!
Oddly enough my own father was a take-it-or-leave-it smoker. One cigarette a week at a “poker party” and never any other time. While my mother habitually smoked herself to death.
I’ve also never found any particular allure in the idea of getting drunk. I think wine tastes nice but getting enough of it to go to my head just makes me feel dull, I get no buzz at all. If every alcohol consumer was like me, nobody’d ever get drunk.
I wish I could say I had that degree of self control in all temptations.
Lets get rid of all products that could kill children...
Ban it for the children....
That "For the Kids" kinda doesn't hold up, does it.
“But we still don’t want to breath second hand nicotine in any form. “
Then go somewhere else. No one will stop you, I promise. In fact they will probably open the door for you.
Please cite the actual studies that show this. I'd be really interested in some speculative fiction.
I wouldn't trust the FDA to speak my weight.
Yes it does hold up, but only for the things they want banned...What you want is irrelevant and meaningless to them.
The days when everyone smoked and they smoked everywhere. Never a “do you mind if I smoke?” It was miserable and the non smokers accepted it.
Thankfully those days are gone.
As far as SMOKING SECTIONS are concerned, they don't work the smoke goes everywhere.
Whine on smokers, this non smoker can't hear you!
