Former Obama White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs appeared on the Meet the Press roundtable Sunday and laid bare truths about Washington, and his former bosss spokesman.
As the shows featured guest, White House adviser Dan Pfeiffer painted a ludicrously optimistic portrait of the 2014 midterm elections for Democrats, stating emphatically, I believe we will keep the Senate.
Later in the show, Gibbs admitted the Democrats could absolutely lose the Senate. He added: If [Obama] doesnt get more involved in raising money and making this a choice, as Dan Pfeiffer said, you lose the Senate. And, if you lose the Senate, turn out the lights because the partys over.

Even if Mitch survives Matt in primary, got to get a conservative replacement. because you still got Rinos like Collins and McCain, and your not going to get the supermajority to nullify the Rinos working with the other side.
You need a conservative to scare the Rinos back into line.
Heh. Good one.
This is now different. I see it more like 2010 and this year will make 2010 LOOK like a walk on the beach.
Since when is a "party" a national nigtmare and horror story? Oh, I guess it's a party for zombies.
All that comes to mind when I think of the upcoming election, is Obama and the Dems using incredibly divisive tactics to turn out blacks, hispanics, women and gays.
They already are trying and the news media (aka dem media) will be in full swing on this well before the election.
Obama will spend his final two years vetoing bills and swilling antacids. And possibly antidepressants.
Pussy.
We'd need a strong leader in the Senate so we can impeach (and convict) $hithead before he gets us into a shooting war with Russia.
The dumba$$.
I am not trying to start a flame war with Protestants and Catholics...what I meant was, and I think history bears me out here, is that Luther recognized some real, deep seated problems within the Roman church.
He didn’t start out trying to break away, but to make the church more closely resemble the vision of Christ and the disciples.
When that didn’t happen, I think because of Rome’s intransigence, we had a deep and lasting schism.
Today, the Christian church (all elements, imo) has charlatans and those who compromise with the world’s philosophy....and the Church OUGHT to withdraw from these wicked men (like Paul told the church in Corinth to do) and get back to true spiritual worship.
I hope that explains what I meant. :)
The main thing they are going to try is state ballot initiatives raising the minimum wage.
That should, they think, turn out the low-info Obama voter.
“I get to vote myself a raise. Yay!!”
Will the GOPe dopes come out with another ‘power sharing’ plan?
Yes that definitely is in their playbook as well. Still, I think Obama can not help but make it racial.
Give 'ol Harry a comfortable chair---and tell him not to
worry about all those silly electrical switches lying around.
Harry'll just love his brand-new cardboard desk (some assembly required).
Although I hear phone service isn't hooked up down there yet.
Guess Harry will have to use smoke signals. ROTFLOL.
Pfeiffer’s such a boob. But he’s a perfect representative of the know-nothing liberal schmucks in the white hut.
TRANSLATION FROM CHICAGO GANGLAND PARLANCE: "Obama put the Democrats in deep-doo doo when he forced them to sign onto his cockamamie healthcare plan.
No amount of fund-raising is gonna help---Sink lost outspending the Republican 3-1.
Obama getting involved is a joke---no Democrat wants him anywhere near their campaigns.
Democrats were promised a piece of the Healthcare action. Man, in Chicago, if a politician welches on a deal, it's lights out.....
.....as they say in East Cicero, Illinois, "if you like your mortician, you can keep your mortician.'
“IF”...like there is any hope!
No. We get America back.
One would hope as it is set up that way, but only the eGOP can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
what, me ? worry ? !
Certainly
It is much easier to steal a seat than it is to buy it.
