A mom in Colorado is in trouble with the law for lying about her son's fake illness--and collecting money for it.
She said her son was battling cancer. People donated to the cause and the family took a Disney vacation. Neighbors were shocked when details of the plot started to unravel.
This Facebook photo shows Sandy Nguyen and her family at Disneyland. A trip investigators believe was paid for with donations. Friends and family gave $25,000 believing her 6-year-old son had cancer.

I suppose as a Christian I cannot advocate anything like, say, burying her up to her neck and allowing families of actual cancer victims to stone her...

Yep. Similar scams but vastly different outcomes. The mom gets arrested for scamming a few people and the liar-in-chief remains unscathed after scamming millions of Americans. Justice is more easily applied to the less powerful.
Thank you....this is what I was going for....the FIRST thing that popped into my head when I saw the “reporters” talking about this woman with obvious disdain.
So why do they hate this woman, but give Obama, whose lie was FAR GREATER IN MAGNITUDE, a complete pass?

0bama is teaching that a lie is not really a *lie* and that rules/laws are to be broken.
In 1992 my youngest Timmy 2 years old died of leukemia. This makes me sick. What they should do is make her do some voluntary work on a pediatric cancer ward.
That’s always a concern when you get involved in donations to a private party with no disinterested party who knows what’s going on and doesn’t vouch for the authenticity. I wouldn’t do it.

I once had a coworker who told a similar lie: He claimed his young son had been killed in a hit-and-run, and that’s why he wasn’t coming to work.
It turned out, his little boy was alive and well and had never been involved in an accident. The coworker had used his job to con people and skipped town with the money.
Imagine having that for a father. Just sick.
