"Instead, let's cut the luxury aircraft he and his cronies ride around in - and his vacation budget as well!"

They would just commandeer military transport aircraft.
And yes, I would very much like to see Obama's travel restricted. In particular, I'd like to see Moochelle forced to travel commercial on her own dime.

Let him use military transport instead of Air Force One! Go right ahead!

Air Force One is luxury with wings compared to most transport planes. If the sight of exposed wires and cables isn’t enough, the rear-facing seats (safer, doncha know) should convince him.

However, I could sign off on mothballing Air Force Two. Let the First Wookie take a commercial flight instead. Oh yeah!

The current crop of spiritually insane “leaders” reject the notion that obedience to God = blessings, and disobedient to God = wrath. Our Founders knew better, and that’s why they sought to conform our laws with God’s commands. And we were richly blessed for that obedience for our first 200 years or so, growing from a tiny country to a rich and prosperous superpower. Neither that obedience nor those blessings were an accident.

But in the past few decades the American people have turned toward depravity and elected “leaders” who reflect that depravity, resulting in rejection of God’s commands. And now our formerly rich and prosperous nation is teetering on the brink of bankruptcy, trillions of dollars in debt. That’s also not an accident.

This is truly a national security issue, an existential threat. But the American people are so depraved and spiritually insane they’re incapable of seeing that freight train bearing down on them.

Repent, America. Now.

Thank you for the beautiful prayer.

We should not be discouraged or deceived. GOD is still in control. Look around and you will see HIS hand moving. And when you see these things, do not wait in idleness, but prepare yourselves. For HIS day is coming...

As for today, do not submit yourselves to the powers of evil, but labor against such. Love GOD with all your heart (for HE blesses and chastises us with HIS love) and love one another (in HIS name).

If we do this, I believe our nation will be blessed again.

And where are all those people who said they were teaching the republicans a lesson by voting for a 3rd party who stood no chance to win? Its better this way, right?

And it'll happen again if the Rino lovers force another Bush or Romney on us...YOu guys just don't learn...

For once Obama might be correct, the AWACS is an obsolete piece of crap.

Agreed. In today’s drone-centric stealthy world, AWACS gives us no useful information.

Remember that as you’re carted off to the work camps.

If you know about them, the Republicans in Congress as well as Romney and all the Bushes know about them...That ought to tell you something...

Don't forget, it was daddy Bush who brought us the phrase, New World Order...

There’s MASSIVE amounts of ‘fat’ and waste to cut out of the area of “defense”(Military Industrial Complex). I don’t think this qualifies as either, because AWACS really IS defense!

However, if the .gov insists on squandering away money, we’re all better served spending on defense. At least we’re creating jobs and actually producing things with it, rather than giving people 0bama phones, and endless handouts to unproductive people. Still, I wonder how long it will be before our tanks, armored vehicles, and aircraft are outsourced to China or somewhere offshore. Hell, China likely already has all of the designs and knows how to build it all.

. In today’s drone-centric stealthy world, AWACS gives us no useful information.

If they are paired up, they are a powerful combination. From the Federation of America Scientists website:

"The AWACS Bistatic UAV Adjunct is a proposed $850M+ acquisition program with prototype in FY08 and completed in 2015. High Altitude Endurance (HAE) Dark Star/Global Hawk UAVs with bistatic receivers for the AWACS radar will expand area coverage of a single E-3 orbit and with the inherent significant signal to interference ratio enhancement provide increased coverage of low RCS targets while operating inside and outside an air defense threat environment. The inclusion of the Bistatic UAV adjunct to the E-3 would allow reduced E-3 operational tempo in some theaters and the ability to cover two major regional conflicts with fewer E-3s. By only carrying the receiver, IFF interrogator and a JTIDS/JCTN transmitter package, the UAV weight limitations can be met (combat ID systems might also be included if weight and size allows). The bistatic UAV would also be able to serve as an adjunct to the E-2, TPS-75 and other air/ground radars. Most important, the Bistatic UAV is a key part of the USAF transition from the E-3 to UAVs and Space for the AWACS mission, with the mission crew on the ground. The Bistatic UAV will be able to serve as the receiver using a satellite as the radar transmitter instead of the E-3. The bistatic UAV is a common link to a reduced E-3 fleet and use of Space for surveillance of large to LO/VLO air vehicles (missiles and aircraft) in the battlespace."

TADIL J (the data link the AWACS uses to report aircraft position) is dumbed down to about 12 second updates because of the AWACS.

Do you have any idea how far an aircraft can fly in 12 seconds? This creates massive problems for modern accurate radars to figure out if that AC being reported by AWACS is the same as on their radar.

And this is just one example, there are many more of trying to keep this 80’s technology relevant.
