Rubio would have been good, but I don’t trust him on amnesty. I still like him, but he’d have to make concrete assurances that he wouldn’t back amnesty

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

No Rubio. Not ever.

Another of my fav’s at this way early point would be Scott Walker.

What's Walker's opinion on immigration?

I do not support amnesty, I support legal immigration and recognize that the country has been enriched by those who seek the freedom to make a life for themselves. However, millions of illegal immigrants are crossing our border without our knowledge and causing a clear threat to our national security. I want to work in the Senate to secure our border immediately. In addition, I support the creation of a border fence and increased border patrol capabilities.

Immigrants should meet the current requirements, which should be enforced and updated. I realize that subsidizing something creates more of it, and do not think the taxpayer should be forced to pay for welfare, medical care and other expenses for illegal immigrants. Once the subsidies for illegal immigration are removed, the problem will likely become far less common.

I support local solutions to illegal immigration as protected by the 10th amendment. I support making English the official language of all documents and contracts.

Millions crossing our border without our knowledge constitutes a clear threat to our nation's security. Instead of closing military bases at home and renting space in Europe, I am open to the construction of bases to protect our border.

“Are you willing to try to bring the 11 million people who are here, bring them out of the shadows, give them an existence, try to be more humane, and try to get a better situation for them? That could happen tomorrow,” Paul said on ABC’s “This Week.”

Paul - Democrats Need to Come Halfway on Immigration.

Paul supports Amnesty. He favors the massive wholesale legalization of illegal aliens.

Like fellow Amnesty supppoter John McCain, Paul also dishonestly tries to redefine Amnesty as something else, but no one should buy his weasel word games.

I can only tell you what his official policy is. What I posted is his policy as stated on his Senate web site. I also note that he voted against the gang of 8 immigration reform. So in both his written word (web site) and his actions (Senate vote) his is not for amnesty.

Good one. Yeah, he has learned from his father’s mistakes and can fool people more efficiently. He talks a good game, but I do not trust anyone who wants to aid the illegals in the invasion of our country.

Rand Paul explicitly says he favors the massive permanent legalization of illegal aliens. Honest people call that Amnesty.

I can't believe how stupid the GOP is. Why on God's Green Earth do we want an inexperienced one-term President…..Cruz and Obama are one in the same with running for President. Can we please have a Governor who at least has results. Walker would be perfect. Cruz has not accomplished one thing in the Senate….bills passed? Anything? I guess he says some marvelous speeches (like Obama) and stands for hours reading Green Eggs and Ham to his children (like Wendy Davis). Why are we wanting to emulate the Democrats?

Who won all the straw votes in 2011-2012? Certainly not the President. I don’t think it matters who wins the Straw Vote. What matters is nominating Walker so that we have an experienced candidate. No more Senators and certainly not first term senators.

I think Pat McCrory would be good. Has better hair and better on immigration. The whole group of abortion fans were too stunned to do anything.

Find someone to read the following to you slowly. If needed, ask them to explain the big words.

In an interview with WNDtv, Sen. Paul took on the critics of so-called “amnesty” who oppose efforts to “normalize” illegal immigrants and absorb them into the United States. “Let’s get them work visas, let’s normalize them, let’s make them taxpayers,” he said of the 11 million undocumented immigrants currently residing within the states.
