Well, seeing as how they are not our friends and have demonstrated time and time again that they are not only not our friends, but that they loathe us, maybe me ought to stop expecting them to behave as if they are our friends.
i noticed that he used “the first blah, blah, blah” formula... so maybe because she was not the first female VP nominee he did not mention her... he was stuck on his formula... i don’t know... i am simply grasping i suppose...

Why should he mention her? I am a big fan but historically she hasn’t done anything to warrant recognition outside of Alaska. Should he have said “Sarah Palin who resigned as Governor of Alaska and failed to win the Vice Presidency as the second woman to ever run?”

Ok, how about this. If McCain had not selected her as VP candidate, Palin would be a minor footnote in history as a one term or possibly 2 term governor of AK.
It is not that impressive.
The GOP leadership/establishment class has shown nothing but utter contempt for both Palin and Cruz since each first appeared on the national scene.
With Palin, it even goes back to the wardrobe flap in 2008, which was a false story and false meme that the GOP election managers could have cleared up in heartbeat, but they wouldn’t. They deliberately let it just hang out there for weeks, letting the media get away with endless smears and falsehoods to tear Palin down.
They didn’t utter a word of outrage or support for Palin when her church was torched a few weeks later, nor defend her when her family and children were attacked, nor when Dem political operatives tried and were succeeding in financially bankrupting her and her family with bogus lawsuits, nor when the media was laying total blame on her for the mass-murders in Tucson, nor when Hollywood spent millions to make a movie to smear her, etc., etc.
God, how I’ve grown to lose all the faith, respect and confidence I used to have in the GOP!
