Quite a few Freeper (conservative non-progressives) have already done so and now live in places like Panama,Philippines, Australia and Canada.Most of this evolution was completed by the end of 2011, but also is an ongoing process.
Asset confiscation will soon begin, as Obama Care gets the IRS in gear.
