Good evening, Pro...((HUGS))...we got about a foot of snow at my house. The trees are all flocked, and you can see the edges of the driving lanes in the dark. Much better. The plow guy came and did my driveway about 2am, and still snow fell til morning. I’m happier now. d:o)
Stay dry!!

Thanks, me too. And I asked (stupidly I didn’t ask at the time) about the steroid shots I got on th 7th. They are for inflammation and pain and should start to do their work in the next few days. Thankfully I’m used to the pain and it’s not too bad, but I will be glad to get rid of all the water on the knee.
The BIG shots come on March 14th, so I might be late.

I have posted some with a Bailey Bridge but can’t recall exactly when.
I do know they took off a week right in the middle of the war to work with a British Engineer group just to learn how to build Bailey Bridges.

They look well fed don’t they.
From reading their history, one thing which got my attention was the officers, at least the higher ones were clearly Engineers and not just some guys who had worked in construction.
In the history they would determine what kind of bridge to build by checking the river depth, type of soil and several other factors.
They must have made some mistakes too as Colonel Scott took a couple of days off in order to give his officers some instructions on what to do and not do when constructing certain types of bridges.
