If Democrats would wake up and realize what Rep. Trey Gowdy is saying is true, then we can begin to move the ball in the right direction.

Yes. Pelosi’s face has been surgically stretched tighter than the head on a snare drum, stretching the remaining brain cells as well. You could read a newspaper through her cerebrum.
When Pelosi was speaker I spoke to a lobbyist for an industry association. Off the record this person told me Pelosi was not very bright but is an extreme partisan and will fight with whatever means are available to her. The lobbyist also indicated the power players in the Obama administration disliked her immensely but found her to be a useful pawn since she was intensely partisan and driven to further the party agenda at all costs. Furthermore, per this observer the feeling was mutual. As a side comment this Washington insider indicated the Republican strategists were not smart enough to exploit the mutual disdain between the White House and Pelosi. I believe the specific comment was something to the effect, “When you are focused on playing defense you ignore many opportunities”.
Dems can get away with being mind-numbingly stupid. They know the media will cover for them. Imagine if a Repub had said they had to pass a bill he supported to find out what’s in it.

Gowdy was not one of the twelve who opposed Boehner for leadership at the beginning of this session of Congress like Justin Amash of Michigan, Tom Massie of Kentucky and Steve Stockman of Texas.
I see him as being a lot like my congressman, making emotional statements critical of Democrats while not trying to stop the Uniparty debt increasing-tax increasing policy of Boehner as reflected in the debt ceiling vote or the Murray-Ryan budget plan of December last year that created new taxes and cut military pensions.
Pelosi and SJ-L being stupid is bad enough. But, the real problem are the millions of people who find them brilliant!
And that is being kind.

I agree with him 100%. Pelosi makes Sheila Jackson-Lee look like a rocket scientist.
She is the daughter of a mayor of Baltimore, who was one of those old party bosses back in the day. I think she learned a lot from her father. Her brother was also a mayor of Baltimore. She’s from a political family.
