Letter upsets city's Black History Month
Black History Month in Baltimore is a busy, busy time. Every aspect of black life in this city is remembered and celebrated: Black schools. Black music. Black movies. Black churches. Black literature. Black clothing. Black politicians. Even black trains.
Then Tracey Halvorsen had to go and spoil it all: She wrote an article about crime in Baltimore. How she and her mostly white neighbors live in fear. And no one seems to care. Or worse, lots of people think it is normal. “Baltimore City,You Are Breaking My Heart,” is going viral for an on-line magazine called Medium.com. A few quotes:
“I’m tired of being looked at like prey.”
“I’m tired of thinking about the horrifying final moments for 51 year old neighbor, Kim Leto, stabbed to death in her own home by two teenagers.”
“I’m tired of wondering why city leaders haven’t said s*** about recent horrific murders committed by children in supposedly ‘safe’ neighborhoods.”
“I’m tired of living next to a beautiful park that I’m scared to walk into at any time of day, thanks to regular stories of day-time muggings, drug dealing and gang violence.”

OK, help me out here.
If a white person is assaulted by a black person, it’s the white person’s fault because he’s a racist.
If a white person notices any kind of crime, he’s a rascist for merely acknowledging the existence of crime.
This fits in perfectly with the PoMo premise that reality is a social construct, i.e., there is no reality.

I honestly think some of them do it hoping they’ll be turned down so they can pull out the race card and see whitey blanch and stutter.
Self pride, no matter the color, is an insult.
We are to treat each other as brothers and sisters. So, we should think of others as equal, just as we did when Barack was elected.
Now, he, and those who surround him, feels that he is king, and we are his peasants. We are becoming more-so each day, even those who feel they are his equal.
We have but ONE KING, Christ, the King of the Jews, who gave His life on this earth for us. His Spirit is still with us, and no man, or woman, can take that away as long as we keep our Faith in Him and this One Nation, under God.
Day-time muggings, drug dealing and gang violence it’s what liberals call utopia.
Not to mention the whites that helped with the Civil Rights movement, where is the thanks and the gratitude?
I am sick of being hated for my white Russian/Irish skin. My parents’ lives and my grandparents’ lives survived famine, concentration camps, alcoholism, it has not been a walk in the park and no one owned anyone else.
So eff off if you want reparations from me, reparations for what pray tell? No, I do not have a guilty conscience.

If I had to guess, he was expecting to get him some White Tail deer. Just once. Then, upon being shot down, played the card he knew best, the race card. Your experience has been related to me by an uncomfortably large number of people.

If you watch “Justified” on TV, you’d have noticed the Ava, the pretty white fiancé of Boyd Crowder in prison being beset by black lesbians in prison. They remarked at her pretty white-girl blonde hair and ogled it immensely.
He reaction was to cut if off in the dead of night in the bathroom with a razor she had to give a month’s “prison store privileges” for.
That’s pretty much what you have to do (or its equivalent)nowadays when the Federal Governments Department of Justice Eric[MyBlackPeople] Holder is in charge. A more racist uncaring bigot never occupied that office.
Are people “allowed” to carry those in Baltimore?
Some one needs to take up the Vice Presidents call and get a few pickup loads of shotguns to these folks, QUICK!

We were on our way to VA and were running low on gas in Baltimore. I pulled off 95 and onto shakedown street. I certainly felt like prey, in our minivan with out-of-state plates. I gassed up and got the hell out, looking over my shoulder the whole time.
And still there are those who can see no reason for high capacity magazines.
