New information about the intelligence available in the immediate aftermath of the Benghazi attack raises questions about whether the former No. 2 at the CIA downplayed or dismissed reporting from his own people in Libya that it was a coordinated attack and not an out-of-control protest over an anti-Islam video.
Then-Deputy Director Mike Morell, whose own agency lost two employees at Benghazi, former Navy Seals Ty Woods and Glen Doherty, was heavily involved in editing the administration’s internal narrative on what happened – known as the “talking points” – which served as the basis for then-U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice’s controversial claims about a protest on the Sunday talk shows after the attack.
According to the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee report on Benghazi, on Sept. 15, four days after the attack and one day before Rice’s appearance, the CIA's most senior operative on the ground in Libya emailed Morell and others at the agency that the attack was "not/not an escalation of protests."

The very notion that people in Benghazi care about a Youtube video is preposterous. The assassins of our Ambassador and Navy Seals probably never surf the Youtube postings.
Clearly the “folks” in DC ordered and orchestrated the massacre and coverup. How could it be otherwise?

I have heard that Zwahiri encouraged this attack to avenge al Libi. Recently I heard that Al Libi was being held and questioned on a US ship in the Mediterranean, probably around that time. Perhaps the video story was floated to distract from that activity. Apparently a number of our embassies were under attach that day and the video was implicated there. Question: Was this possibly a legitimate coverup to support a worthwhile covert action(s)? Another question: How the heck did the CIA loose the maps to the Tora Bora caves when they could have been used to capture bin Laden? Who was in charge when that happened?

I also think this may be part of why Petraeus is giving a nod to Hillary...I think she has something big on the CIA and/or him. But Brennan is a real part of the problem...and he managed to slime his way out of his role in all of this...
Clearly Morell was just being the resident Pimp for Obama, Jarrett, Hildebilge, Biden, Hagel and other members of their Cabal. He was ordered to come up with a BS anti-truth report on CIA stationery and he did it...............pure and simple! Now, he is hiding from Herridge and her cameraman.
Petraeus, not wanting to play along, had his head chopped off because he could not keep his zipper in the North position!

Hard for me to believe that the CCTV video wasn't reviewed until Sep 18. I would think that a major event like the Benghazi attack would have been followed live in all the situation rooms,(WH, DoD, CIA, StateDept) particularly the CIA.

gleeaikin, am going to try to answer part of your question. Personally (and this is my opinion) I believe bin laden was never in the caves of Tora Bora. I think he was at the compound, where found, all along.
