Every February 14, across the United States and in other places around the world, candy, flowers and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine. But who is this mysterious saint, and where did these traditions come from? Find out about the history of this centuries-old holiday, from ancient Roman rituals to the customs of Victorian England. I went out to get some prescriptions filled and also stopped by the local Wal-Mart. The place was as packed as it was before Christmas.
At first I had no idea why. When I got inside I saw that most of them had valentine merchandise. I don’t recall it being that big a deal in years past.

Good evening Pro ((HUGS))
I’m sorry I missed you earlier but was dealing with snow and keeping the fire going.
We just finished our second round of snow. This time about 4 inches.
Almost everything was closed today, so I was home all day. Will be home tomorrow too.
Hope all is well on your side of the country.

Good evening, Mac...*HUGS*...did you get some good rest and let the meds work today?
Do you have snow?
We got maybe a short inch overnight. Not enough to even flock the trees.
