Years ago when we lived in Japan, my wife and I did a Saturday night neighborhood English class as sort of a community service for our neighbors and friends. The most popular event of the year was our July 4th themed party/ class. We had American flag decorated cake, red, white and blue treats brought in by the parents and, of course, a finale where we retired to a local park and shot off fireworks.

It’s amazing isn’t it in the absolute depths these people will go to NOT insult or offend, Muslims, Mexicans, immigrants of any sorts. But it’s just fine and dandy to insult and offend American citizens on our own soil in our own TAX-PAYER funded school systems.

I challenge those dipstick administrators to explain what May 5th celebrates. Ask any Mexican, Frenchman, Spaniard, or American and no one will know what it is. It is the Paris Hilton of holidays. A holiday for the sake of having a holiday. And a reason to drink beer and tequila. Those administrators are idiots.

Students should take it on their own to celebrate by wearing patriotic clothing and shoving it right back in the teachers’ arrogant liberal faces.
