Christie Slides, Jeb Bush Rises
National Review ^ | 02/05/2014 | Jim Geraghty

Posted on 02/05/2014 5:44:06 AM PST by SeekAndFind

The “Chris Christie for President” moment may already be over.

Former allies are souring on him. His poll strength against Hillary Clinton in a hypothetical matchup has evaporated. Once-friendly media figures like Jimmy Fallon and Bruce Springsteen are mocking him, and their joint parody of “Born to Run” now has more than 4 million views on YouTube.

If Christie’s appointee David Wildstein is telling the truth when he claims evidence exists that proves the governor knew about the lane closures on the George Washington Bridge, and if that evidence is made public, then all the “Christie in 2016” talk is moot, because the governor will have great difficulty avoiding impeachment by the Democrat-controlled New Jersey legislature. If Wildstein is lying, Christie still has the headache of explaining why more than one of his trusted associates acted so vindictively and foolishly, and then tried to blame him.

Christie’s difficulties have caused some high-level Republican donors, bundlers, and party officials, as well as grassroots activists, to look around for a second option for 2016. No one is writing Christie off yet, but these people feel that the high stakes of the next presidential election require a backup plan.

The name that is currently highest atop their list is that of Jeb Bush, former two-term governor of Florida and son and brother of presidents.

“I’m deferring the decision until the right time, which is later this year,” Bush told reporters during a tour of a charter school in Miami last week. “The decision will be based on, ‘Can I can do it joyfully?’ Because I think we need to have candidates who can lift our spirits. It’s a pretty pessimistic country right now. And is it right for my family? I don’t even want to think about that until the right time.”

New polls show the aging hag winning by thirty points over Jeb Bush.

If the banksters want Jeb, you'll see a scandal of the day every single day for Hillary in 2016. And they'll just flip the battleground state vote fraud engines around to pick Jeb, this time. Some conservatives in Wyoming and Mississippi might stay home in protest - it won't change the Electoral math.

And it is his turn...never mind that Obama cut in and squashed Hillary's Oval Office redecorating plans in 2008. If the Powers That Be were so enamored of her, that could never have happened.

A Jeb Bush victory can be easily manufactured, in other words, if that's what all the big players want. Polls are just a short-term scorecard.

People in TX think the law requires them to elect George P. No one has heard of his opponent.

The author of this article ought to wake up. All the "Christie in 2016" talk was just a media fabrication to begin with -- which means it was always moot. Christie has never said he ever wanted to run for the White House, and I've been saying for several years now that he never had any interest in it. I'm sure he knows better than anyone else that a fat slob from New Jersey doesn't have a chance in hell of getting elected president in this country.

No Jeb. No Christie. No McCain. No Romney.

Enough with all the RINO’s. Period.

Biggest consensus from Precinct caucuses last night was that those of us on the “ground floor” are FED UP with sending folks to DC who end up turning into RINO’s. The phrase “RINO hunt with real bullets” came up and was APPLAUDED.

GOP... You are on notice. Knock it off.

Sounded weak on that but i recognize that 80% is better than 40%.
I am 1000% for tossing them out. I have never bought into the fake math that they will add to the economy. what a joke. That being said i realize from plans put forth that its possible to look good on the issue but make it difficult enough that they won’t go through the process. At that point start enforcing and send them back.
Its more workable than i had thought in the past.

All though it is highly unlikely, the power elite won't risk losing control of the WH but they understand there is a possibility of the hildahag crashing before 2016. Since they own Jebby too they will orchestrate all the vote fraud necessary to maintain their control of the US government. The vote fraud starts early with the ruling elite as they use polls to publish their propaganda.
