A seismometer inside a borehole at Yellowstone National Park has begun reporting staggering underground activity near the southwest corner of Yellowstone Lake, possibly signaling the beginning of an eruption of the Super Volcano at the Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park is home to many beauties, with its ancient landscape, geysers, and hot springs. It is also the site of one of the worlds most destructive forces. A supervolcano.

Well, I notice that our house is outside the circle, or at least right at the edge. Our vacation house, on the other hand is well within the circle.
I have been planning to grow more veggies on the patio this year, and stock piled a bunch of soil at the end of the year garden sales, so I quess I have a contingency plan.LOL

Very long, very wide, very shallow, less than 10% of it molten, many outlets and very generally weak.

Yes it could....like wipe out half of the US. It is nothing to be made fun of, as I see many FReepers doing.Lighten up. It's called graveyard humor. I recall greeting cards back in the early sixties with jokes about nuclear war on them. Humor is a way of coping with something over which you believe you have no control.
