Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) on Monday said President Obama lied about the terrorist attack in Benghazi during an interview that aired before the Super Bowl.
Inhofe said the 2012 terrorist attack in Libya will go down in history as the greatest cover-up, and slammed Obama for claiming it was thoroughly investigated.
Its just an outrageous lie. Its kind of hard to call it anything else. Its kind of like ObamaCare and the things he said in the beginning and now hes denying it, Inhofe said during a radio interview on 1170 KFAQs "The Pat Campbell Show," which based in Tulsa, Okla.
The 2012 attack on an American compound in Benghazi was staged on the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.
Republicans argue the administration falsely claimed that the attack was a protest gone wrong in the immediate aftermath to try and protect the president.

And when is someone FINALLY going to find out who dreamed up the “anti-muslim-video-made-them-do-it” lie that Obozo pushed from the get-go?
Impeachment has to begin in the House of Representatives. As you know that comes under the purview of House Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy. They have the power, authority, duty and responsibility to open Hearings on the Articles of Impeachment.
If these individuals are satisfied with the non-stop Abuses of Power, Circumventing of Law and other Acts that are detrimental and deleterious to the Safety and Security of the United States of American and her Citizens, then these Hearings will not be forthcoming.
If We The People are going to be viewed as being accepting and tolerant of these people being Derelict In Their Duty, they will come through the coming Primary Elections to remain in Office.
The Senate cannot begin this process.
Nope. I don’t “gets it”.
LOL. I guess there’s more than one way to live up to your screen name.
That is one question that DEMANDS a non-bullshite answer.
Realistically, and not sarcastically, what would it take to impeach this guy? What results in the 2014 elections would be needed?
I read two or three times a week a representative or senator state a cover up or crime the hero of Benghazi has committed. They should conclude by calling for his impeachment whichever house they are in
When they get the balls to be able to take the hit of the riots that would follow an Obama impeachment.
When, Mr Inhofe?
The kenyan is always going to be able to play word games and hide behind the classified nature of the Benghazi op. It sucks but that is the way it is.
It’s much better to focus on the IRS assaults and kenyancare killing people. Everybody can understand the IRS hitting you and obama taking away your insurance. He isn’t going to get a pass on that type of stuff as long as the pressure stays on.
To be honest, I believe that there would be NO riots.
Benghazi is just one instance where Obama can and should be Impeached. The reasons and justifications for his removal from office is a target rich environment.
Well, sometimes automobile accelerators really do go nuts and send one flying into trees at 120 mph...!
I can’t argue with your reasoning one little bit. I do believe that the calls for Hearings on the Articles of Impeachment to begin would be met with vast Public Approval.
It won’t be a bigger coverup than the president’s illegal alien background.
At least we can keep the word alive
I stand ready to keep America alive.
A classic example of a Rumsfeldianism quote. That being "Willingly feeding the alligator, hoping it works out that he eats you last"
Benghazi was what was left when the menu ran low.
I am certain that this might have something to do with Boehner’s reticence toward naming a Select Committee to investigate Benghazi.
