FR is pro-God, pro-Life, pro-family, pro-constitution, pro-limited government and will remain that way. Regardless of any consequences!!
You're either with us on this or against us.
Moderation is not the solution, it is the problem!!
We do not surrender, we do not retreat, we do not negotiate or compromise on our unalienable rights to Life and Liberty or our sovereignty!!
Karl Rove and the GOP-e moderates and all like them can KMA!!
You cannot moderate evil, you fight it!!
If its human, killing it is by definition murder.
Hmmm... Trayvon Martin was human, and the preponderance of opinion here at FR agreed with the jury that killing him was not murder, likewise the demises of various and sundry criminals of the sort Texans describe as someone “who needs killin’”, the deaths of Taliban and Al Qaeda operatives through the agency of American and allied arms,... (I trust I need not go on.)
If it’s human, killing it is by definition homicide. Even under a radically pro-life legal regime as is advocated both by JimRob’s official policy here at FR and the preponderance of opinion among FReepers, there are a vanishly small number of instances in which abortion would be justifiable homicide, rather than murder: ending an ectopic pregnancy destroys a unique human being, not doing so, allows that unique human being’s growth to imperil the health of his or her mother, possibly causing her death, and also ends in the death of the child.
Whether there are others — less certain life-of-mother v. life-of-child triage situations, or even an exception for rape or incest (or even just forcible rape), is what abortion policy will turn on when the gradually growing pro-life majority managed to thrust the courts out of the matter and return it to the political sphere.
Ok...
Yeah, isn’t it interesting what happens when people stand up and say “No”, like they did last weekend on amnesty?
Jim has nicely laid out what we are PRO, nothing wrong with saying NO to the things we detest.
Ok... Are we talking about Treyvon? Are we talking active hostilities in war? Or are we talking about abortion?
Would anyone else like to split a completely unnecessary semantic hair where one does not need to be split?
yep, I’m supporting the State Rep candidates with the more conservative position on Abortion and Marriage, the one who has a chance to win or make it a close 2nd. even if that candidate does not have an ‘R’ next to his name.
So if the Republican is more pro-abort and more pro-gay, count me out.
I think BJ1 was agreeing with you.
Some of us have been taking on the atheists and Darwinists around here since 1998, let me assure you.
They make great target practice for informed debaters!
FReegards!
Tell us what you really think :):):)
When are you coming back down to Texas, Jim?
Leo
Jim, the time is short. Might as well go down having given all you got for The Good Fight. Moderation? Lukewarm? =vomit.
And a SCOURGE on y’all here who tell me that “pro-life and Marriage” are just a couple of issues and go ahead and support the ones who are “overall more conservative and have an R next to their name”.
Pro-life and Marriage. They are the only issues.
With a handle like his; are you sure its love he’s looking for?
BTTT.
Good Shootin’ today, Jim
Another one to be zotted. Judibug. She’s pro Mitch McConnell and thinks the Tea Party is being dumb trying to get rid of him.
The only way to end (some)abortion(s) is by overturning Roe v. Wade. As long as it stands, anything we try to do will be overturned. If a politician is pro-choice death, I could live with it if I knew that as president, he/she would nominate judges of the Thomas/Alito/Scalia ilk, and that as a senator would vote to confirm such judges.
However, I don't see how/why we could take pro-life out of our platform unless we are agreeing with the death-mongers that abortion is okie-dokie.
We are reminded as we pass the 41st anniversary of Roe v Wade of where the immoral godless extremism of the liberal/progressive movement leads. Roe is responsible for the slaughter of more than 55 million babies in our country - more than 1.3 million a year.
Life has been the standard for all civilized societies throughout the history of mankind. With few exceptions, only in godless totalitarian societies run by ruthless kings or dictators would you find governments wantonly slaughtering millions of its own citizens. In modern times that would be leftist/fascist dictators such as Lennon, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, etc. Strange that communist totalitarian societies like Russia and China are moving away from their failed anti-capitalist, anti-freedom, anti-God policies while American progressives and liberals are stepping up their goal of removing God from our public life and curtailing more and more of our God-given freedoms while replacing them with anti-capitalist, anti-freedom policies and tighter and tighter centralized government control over society.
When a government or society abandons God and reduces the value of human life to that of a common animal with no soul, then history proves that said government will treat humans accordingly. Man will be herded, enslaved, used as beasts of burden and slaughtered at will by ruthless, Godless, soulless totalitarians.
This is where the godless extremism of leftism always leads. Yes, they want to kill God. They want to say man has no soul. Man is just another animal that crawled out of the sea and onto the ground. That modern man has overpopulated the planet is now killing mother earth, so modern man must be brought under control.

Good for you, JimRob. I’m behind you!!
Jail liberals and RINO’s for sedition
Wow, I skipped that thread because the of the title, I just assumed that it would be a vanity of sarcasm with a pro-life punch line.
It didn’t occur to me that the title actually represented his view.
"Why don't you pick on someone your own size" ?
Killing helpless life is so easy for godless barbarian rabble ( liberals and RINOS)
