I FINALLY BELIEVE, IT IS THE WOMAN’S SOLE RIGHT TO CHOOSE.. [Poster chooses ZOT!]

I FINALLY BELIEVE, IT IS THE WOMAN’S SOLE RIGHT TO CHOOSE..

For me, it came down to a matter of nature, and fairness. I thought it through, and in doing so, I made sure that I really thought it all the way through..

After all of my many years of standing on the sidelines and observing, as was what I have been instructed to do, as a man, I have concluded that it should be the ultimate decision of the woman to decide whether she should be a mother..

In balancing, deliberating, and reasoning, there was but one undeniable truth, if it was the genius of our reproductive system, and the female of our species was chosen by design, biologically, to bear the burden of child creation, she alone should carry the decision of whether she wishes to reproduce. As such, she alone carries the burden of who should be the sperm donor, where and when the reproductive act should transpire. FAIR, and EQUITABLE, RIGHT?

We all know, or at least we should take a great deal more into consideration before and after making that decision, about how important it is in choosing to have a child or children, how that child will be raised. But one step at a time..

Can we agree that the choice of becoming a mother carries more than a simple yes or no. Far be it for me to interfere with the dynamics that should be considered in a woman’s priority process, but the requirements in that decision, by nature and necessity, is how and why to choose the potential male donor, for a milieu of reasons. By carrying the SOLE access to the starting point of reproduction, also carries the sole responsibility for the results of that decision, the wellbeing of the resulting baby..

Assuming we are all on the same page, the donor (THE MALE OF THE SPECIES) has a limited, but vitally important contribution in the process, the seed, or sperm. The donor, has decisions to make as well, first and foremost, does he agree with her choice of him as the contributor, and her choice of where and when, and even in some cases, with all of the new technologies, how..

As a summary, how many choices are involved in the decision to reproduce for the woman; • Do I want to reproduce, or will the act be for some other reason that I should take the risk? • What are the criteria for choosing a potential mate, or participant? • Who will be the contributor, or partner, for whatever reason? • What planning, or precautions, if any, should be required before the act? • When and where the act should take place? • What will I do if the act has produced the intended results, a child? • What if the planning went awry and there are unintended consequences? • What if I become pregnant, who else should suffer the resulting consequences? • Are there any limitations on my decisions? • What if I didn’t plan, what are my responsibilities? • What is my last resort?

As we have outlined, there are a list of choices that a woman has with her reproductive activities, and natural tools to consider, all of which she has the ultimate choice to advance, or reject along the way. With all of these options, who should be responsible for her decisions, other than the one that made them?

So, since I had no choice, no rights to contribute to her decisions, and, unless I was the contributor to the act, leave me or anyone else that were forced out the resulting process, out f the problems, RIGHT?

GOOD LUCK, AND GOD BLESS

A man..

So you’re sticking around, and you did post the opinion. I was WAY off. I was hoping someone had hacked your account, because it sounded like you were washing your hands of abortion, much like Pontius Pilate. Real men don’t tolerate abortion.

Before conception, women certainly have the right to choose whether they get pregnant or not.

Once one brings a baby into the world, that baby should have the same right to life as every other human being.

Jim, I hear you, and if you recall, I am an adopted parent.. I want to stop abortion NOW, TODAY, IMMEDIATELY! But if you read my post I am outlining a dialog to fight back against the proliferation of the amoral practice..

We keep fighting this war, by playing by their rules, which can be twisted in soundbites and slogans.. I am suggesting a new strategy, a different approach, not an “in your face” that hasn’t won any converts in 3 generations, because we are intractable, for reasons that they don’t accept, (MORALS, SHAME, GOD, CONSCIENCE), but that hasn’t worked..

What is working is reasonable conditions, a standard that limits the profit by placing medical conditions on the butchers, and THE OPTIONS that I have outlines to take to the kids thinking about how to decide..

Kick me off if that isn’t reasonable enough for my detractors, but that is where I am now.. I don’t want to loose again to a despot like CLINTON..

Welfare itself also had an anti-family goal.

And it worked.

Hopefully, at some time in the future, pro-aborts will be viewed with as much disdain as pro-slavery people are from today’s vantage point.

I point that out to pro-aborts - that the main argument is the same, that a certain segment of humanity is less human than another, and therefore has less rights.

Pro-aborts, future societies will DESPISE you.

Sorry, carlos. I am not buying what you have on your menu.

Psalm 127:3-4

Children are a heritage from the Lord,
offspring a reward from him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are children born in one’s youth.

How could the man possibly be a FReeper for so many years and then post something like that?

In the past when I've seen it happen, it's usually because someone got someone else pregnant before people knew they were shacking up. One or both become guilt-ridden with choosing secret murder or public hypocrisy. People don't just abandon an entire belief system overnight, unless they're also trying to hide something in their outgoing trash.

I find it intersting that you end with “God Bless.” If God wants us to care for the widows and orphans (those who cannot care for themselves), does He not also want us to care for the unborn - those who have no choice in their creation and certainly no voice in their destruction???

The “choice” should be in whether or not to partake in those activities that lead to conception, not in what to do to erase the consequences! And, to be sure (although not widely publicized by the pro-abortionists), there are considerable consequences (physical and mental) to those who “choose” to murder the product of their bad choice to copulate.

“And no way are you going to pin “pro-abort” on me.”

That’s for sure. I read carlo3b’s post twice, and I honestly didn’t get it. I agree he made the point that people should be solely responsible for their decisions. However, I can’t agree that that’s OK either. Let’s say a woman chooses to have her baby. She has no right to obligate us to pay to take care of that child of course, but we should want to help the child regardless. Why? Because that child is a separate and unique person in his or her own right. The same respect for life of the unborn extends to the born. We don’t just wash our hands of it because the mother makes bad choices!

I agree. Your initial post definitely leads us to believe you are endorsing abortion. Then your later post is almost incoherent, meaningless.

I think that is how many of us feel, zot

Don’t force us to approve of her amoral choice and don’t force by law any doctor to participate

We stay out of her uterus
She stays out of our wallets

I agree the goal should be “don’t perform the act that results in children unless you are married”.

The current law and social structure, however, incentivizes the exact opposite.
Many on the left, the “sheeperals” as I call them, would vehemently deny that THIS WAS THE ACTUAL GOAL.
But there are many for whom this was first and foremost in their minds when setting up this system.
