Hi All,
This posting is to announce the publication of my new book "When There is No FEMA - Survival for Normal People in (Very) Abnormal Times". Before posting this I coordinated with JimRob to receive guidance on how to do this properly.
This professional, textbook-quality, 500+ page book represents the culmination of 3 years of painstaking research and authorship, and is intended to be the definitive reference for anyone interested in modern day disaster preparedness. Topics covered include:
- Disaster Planning
- Bugging in and bugging out
- Emergency food and water
- Emergency fuel and power
- Raising small livestock (chickens, rabbits, etc.)
- Survival gardening and farming
- Hunting, trapping and fishing
- Guns and other weaponry
- Home and community defense, defensive tactics and intelligence gathering
- First aid
- Sanitation
- Post disaster physical fitness
- Disaster Communications
- The role of precious metals for disaster preparedness
- Survival strategies for those with limited means
One noteworthy and unique chapter provides a detailed action list and charter for instantly organizing a group, neighborhood or small town to survive a worst-case scenario. Another provides the most thorough treatment of personal and family disaster planning to be found anywhere.
By visiting the book's web site and clicking the 'Free Preview' button (or by clicking on the link below) you can begin to appreciate exactly what it has to offer and how it stands out among modern day survival books.

Each book shipped will be signed by the author (me) and ALL PROFITS from sales using this coupon code will go to Free Republic (at this point I'm just interested in getting this book into as many hands as possible).
Happy Prepping!

Just a small question. Why did you post this in the middle of the night? Was that per JimRob? If not, you might want to repost this during a more populated time, as this should be seen by the maximum number of folks. JMHO

Hi Wingy - I thought I would just post a reply to bump it during prime time tomorrow so as to get the broadest exposure. So, we’re thinking the same way.

Congratulations on your book!
Given the timeliness of this topic and especially since you are contributing part of your profits to FR, I (for one) think it would be a great idea to feature this thread for a week or so in the “Breaking News” sidebar.
Just my opinion, FWIW.
