Now that House Republicans have passed a trillion dollar omnibus and trillion dollar farm bill, they are prepared to tackle the most pressing issue of our time granting benefits to illegal immigrants.
The key to understanding the politics of illegal immigration is that this is not just about amnesty (legalization and/or citizenship). Its not just that these people are calling for amnesty because of logistics, yet desire an end to illegal immigration in the future. If that were the case they would simply implement the enforcement measures that have been passed on numerous occasions (eight times, in the case of Visa exit-entry), and address those already here from a position of strength knowing that this wont happen again.
What they really desire is open borders. That is why they always propose the legalization before implementation of enforcement measures and cutting off of magnets and benefits. They know the latter will never come to fruition while the former will occur immediately. They want to continue the perennial cycle of open borders and amnesty.
However, they understand that the public (and certainly their base) is not buying it. So Paul Ryan has thought of a clever shiny object to use for packaging of this grand scheme. A probationary status!
Ryan said the principles would outline a bill that would allow immigrants living in the country illegally to come out of the shadows to receive a probationary work permit.
To get out of the probationary status and receive a regular work permit, triggers for border security and interior enforcement would have to be met and independently verified.

All this is is a change of tactics. They figured they'd need to start an immigration bill in the Senate and then force and pressure the House to pass it.
But that didn't work, so they sent an architect of the senate bill to the House and they're trying to begin the process there, so once passed, the Senate can then strong-arm it through (with the help of the usual gang who will help get it through cloture but then vote against it to fool their constituents).
So the new game is not a conference. The new game is the for the House to basically pass the senate bill (in pieces or otherwise), then the Senate will just pass what the House passed, to get it to the president.
It's the Obamacare strategy. Allow no amendments, get one bill to pass a bill then the other will stong-arm it through and the president will sign it.
And this is all being choreographed by John Boehner's new aide, formerly John McCain's aide.
Ann Coulter hit the nail on the head today with her “Suicide Watch” article.

Do you have a name for this Obamacrat?
“The difference is that Ryan seems to imply that when the government fails to stop illegal immigration the status will be revoked! Whats the matter? You dont believe him?”
Let’s see 4 straight years of enforcement and THEN we’ll talk about legalization.
Once any kind of legal status is conferred on the illegals, there will be no way of returning them to illegal status.
Ryan said the principles would outline a bill that would allow immigrants living in the country illegally to come out of the shadows to receive a probationary work permit.
Included within the bill are a number of intervertent mistake that will be corrected at a later date, it worked sooooooo well for the vets that backstabbing ryan will try it again.
ryan can’t understand that after telling one lie why people call him a liar.
“Ryan said the principles would outline a bill that would allow immigrants living in the country illegally to come out of the shadows to receive a probationary work permit.”
Somebody tell the boy genuis that studies have shown only about 20% of the illegals would ever come out of the shadows. Most of them are Mexicans who are highly nationalistic and have zero desire to become US citizens. They are here for the goodies.
We already have something like 40 guest worker programs for foreigners to come here and work. This is all a ploy to just declare amnesty for 11-20 million of the underclass of another nation because its just too much trouble to figure out how to get rid of them.
Amnesty is job NONE. It isn’t even the leading issue with Hispanics.
Its disturbing when you get reminded yet again that your Repub politicians aren’t representing you, nor are they serving their country. I expect Dems to betray all that is holy, they’re Dems. I get disturbed when I see the GOP’s best and brightest openly going over to the dark side.
I keep making a list and it keeps getting longer of Repubs who have soiled themselves and want me to pretend I don’t smell it.
This isn’t that difficult a problem unless you want it to be. This is a very solvable problem unless you don’t want to solve it. Secure the border. Enforce the law. Let the chips fall. And vote these quislings out whatever the cost.
No! It’s easy to figure out. Quite letting them work here. Cut off the freebies. Get out of their way as they self-deport.
Enough of the happy dance around, “We can’t pick them all up and deport them.” We wouldn’t need to, and EVERYONE knows it.
I knew Ryan could not be trusted when he threw the debate to that lunatic Biden. He’s playing for the NWO/bankers/elites.
End the status of so-called anchor babies, retroactive to 1984. If your parents were illegal - you are too.
Offer a $1000 per head bounty to any citizen to capture and bring in illegal aliens.
Grant 3 month amnesty period for illegals to turn themselves in for deportation rather than risk confrontations with rednecks.
Send all illegals turned in to their country of origin - no hearings, no trials, no discussion. If you’re not legal - you go!
Most take buses/trains to Mexico (country of origin).
The rest get plane rides on Air Force C-130’s back to the motherland.
20 million illegals @ $1000/head = $20 Billion to end the problem once and for all.
Rednecks become well off as immigration enforcers.
ICE gets phased out as superfluous.
In the end, we save money and get rid of the lawless, the America haters, and the con artists.
Where’s the problem?
“Do you have a name for this Obamacrat?”
Rebecca Tallent
No sale.
Secure our borders. Enforce the laws as they exist. Then we can talk about the rest.
Thanks! Is she a Lib from an Ivy League Socialist Mill?
This
‘Lets see 4 straight years of enforcement and THEN well talk about legalization.”
Brilliant and easily doable
All Freepers need to call and call their Rep’s office and complain
Every Rep is up for election next year so they will listen
and if the numbers saying NO are large enough then maybe enough Reps will vote NO to the piece of crap idea
This is a confidence trick and buffoonery. Ryan is using Dem word games trying to con GOP voters.
Why when they are facing a home run election cycle, they are whizzing on the 3rd rail over immigration is beyond me....
TO bring this topic up at all this year is lunacy.
