Libs like Waxman have turned California into Crapifornia in less than a generation. When Republicans were dominant in state politics California was a vibrant, economic force to be reckoned with and the envy of the nation. Now that the Democrats rule the state they’ve turned it into an entitlement wasteland with scores of successful entrepreneurs and businesses leaving in droves, a state treasury that owes billions of dollars to state worker pension programs, and hordes of illegal immigrants sponging up billions more from the state’s taxpayers. What a perfect recipe for a total disaster. Congratulations California, you sold out to the left and you’re on your way to economic oblivion.

I wrote that research in a book in the late 70's - early 80's... which I guess seemed so extreme at that time that I could not get it published... Like Frank Herbert's DUNE [1984] used all those Islamic terms without much alarm.
