Tuesday night live on C-SPAN, President Obama outlines his agenda for the coming year when he delivers his fifth State of the Union Address before a Joint Session of Congress.

Leading up to the President's speech, C-SPAN sets the scene from the White House and Capitol Hill with perspectives from Former Speechwriter to President Obama Jon Lovett, Senate Historian Don Ritchie, and Gallup Editor in Chief Frank Newport.

Following the State of the Union, House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) delivers the Republican response. McMorris Rodgers is in her fifth term representing Washington’s Fifth District.

A good discussion, though I recall when a SOTU speech would draw hundreds of responses.

I didn’t listen to it - I refuse to listen to this little Hitleresque communist moron. The very sound of his voice grates at my nerves. His words are those of war, though he’d cower like a 6 year old child at the mere sight of an actual war.

He speaks poorly of those that have achieved something, as if their place in live were based on happenstance rather than effort, knowledge, and perseverance. He seeks to disarm the “little people” in order to conquer them, nothing more and nothing less.

The SOB’s coming to Nashville on Thursday. Too bad I have to work. I’d be on site with a pretty nasty sign, given the chance. He has no business being in Tennessee at all. He is NOT my President.
