Gun owners who prefer a hollow point design to a full metal jacket might have found a new favorite.
G2 Research (G2R) released its new Radically Invasive Projectile (R.I.P.) this month, hoping to take the civilian and law enforcement markets by storm, and truly become the last round youll ever need.
G2R, based in Winder, Ga., highlights that the bullet points are manufactured with trocar angles or simply put, edges with three angles reaching one point to penetrate the dermis layer more efficiently.
The G2R website explains the R.I.P. acts like a full metal jacket when it impacts solid objects: It is capable of going through barriers such as sheet rock, plywood, sheet metal or glass and still performs its original intent. The bullet shreds through solid objects and only then, expands its energy.

I guess this means a billion rounds of hollow point will be becoming surplus soon...
G2 apparently has even more fax machines with preset media #’s than the 2 people who call themselves “Center for Science in the Public Interest”
It’s a ‘manstopper.’ Diane won’t care.
They won’t wet their pants ... they will simply outlaw the sale of this ammo to the general public.
They already have:

I am waiting for my tungsten core bullets. Or maybe a HEAT round for the 9mm.

This bullet departs 100% of its energy into the target with no over penetration. It causes a huge wound channel that is unsurvivable in the chest area. It doesn't go through walls or people and kill those on the other side. My .40 is stoked with these in the first mag and then heavier hollow points in the next two mags.
I don’t mind saying these things scare the crap out of me but i want some for myself !
Oh, good LORD!
I was researching this ammunition for the last 2 days.
Sounds feasible, but was wondering about the legal implications with it.
SHOT show was also talking about a tethered bullet, too.
A projectile that has four pieces connected by small tethers that turns the bullet into a kind of guillotine.
But, hey.
Whatever stops the threat. Right?
Ping for comments.
A small tungsten rod inserted into a drilled bullet wouldn’t be too hard to do, would it?
More silly gimmick bullets that are less effective, imo.
Primary effect is to stir up gun grabbers, which we don’t need.
So, when I panic fire eight of these into the walls around the intruder, these will stop him in his tracks?

depleted uranium coated in crystal meth.
Yikes
How about a Sabot round....that would send them packing.
Probably be “classified” as one of them evil cop killer bullets that can take down telephone poles when they are struck. Blow up engine blocks and semi trucks.
