House Republicans are preparing to unveil their own broad template for overhauling the nation’s immigration system this week, potentially offering a small opening for President Obama and congressional Democrats to pass bipartisan legislation before the end of the year.
Speaker John A. Boehner of Ohio and other Republican leaders are expected to release a one-page statement of immigration principles this week at their annual retreat in Cambridge, Md., according to aides with knowledge of the plan. The document is expected to call for border security and enforcement measures, as well as providing a path to legal status — but not citizenship — for many of the 11 million undocumented immigrants in the country, the aides said.
The Republican effort comes as Mr. Obama is expected to push once again for an overhaul of the immigration system in his State of the Union address Tuesday, and as lawmakers from both parties describe immigration as one of the few potential areas for bipartisan compromise before the end of the current Congress.

I plan on doing the same. I’ve made so many calls and sent so many faxes, yet I feel like NOTHING works against these traitors.
I’ve not sent 1 dime to the RNC since 0Care was forced on this country. I let them know, on every piece of fundraising mail they send....saying, RNC is DNC on spending, 0Care and, now sadly, amnesty. They are (mostly) ALL beholden to $$, power and greed over country.

I am 100% against granting legal status to any illegal if it places them ahead of those waiting legally to acquire resident visa from foreign lands. Please read my post above.
If the illegals go at end of the line, then it is the exact same waiting period if they were to self-deport and apply for resident status. I am against tax payer money spent to deport them. Or worse yet, borrow from China to deport them.

Since in real world the illegals will not follow your wish, what is your plan B? We can't deport 30 million because we have no money in our treasury to do that. Do you really want to borrow from China to deport the illegals? Actually even borrowing from China about a Trillion more dollars for deportation won't do it. Because none of the illegals have registered their current address with ICE. Legal immigrants are required to register their current address. And we do not have enough FBI agents to search 30 million illegals. How I wish posts would reflect reality instead of wishful thinking.

Dear mr Boehner , not In The middle of the Great 0bama Depression with the highest real unemployment since 1933. ( and it’s getting worse already without adding twenty million new people looking for non - existent jobs). Absent humanitarian cases, and I don’t mean more of obama’s Muslim terrorist pals, please stop the immigration until we have a healthy economy again ( after 2016). Thank you.

If we can pay them welfare, and pay for their healthcare, and pay to educate their children...we can damn well afford to deport every last one of them. And no, they don’t all have to be rounded up at once. You deport them when you find them, and in the meantime you cut off every single benefit available to them—up to and including lifesaving emergency care—to make life here so untenable that they will begin to leave of their own accord. And actually, we can round up and deport mass numbers. We did it in the 1950s with Operation Wetback, back when it was much easier for someone to stay hidden.
