Alabama senator Jeff Sessions responds to the latest jobs report:
"Todays jobs report underscores a deeper problem facing our economy: a large and growing block of people who are chronically jobless and completely outside the workforce. In December, the economy added only 74,000 jobs not nearly enough to keep up with population growth and 347,000 left the workforce. That means for every one job added, nearly 5 people left the workforce entirely. There are now nearly 92 million Americans outside the workforce, resulting in the lowest participation rate in 36 years. The Presidents immigration plan will only make things dramatically worse and no amount of promise zones will be a sufficient remedy for the millions of displaced workers.

Receiving unemployment services (by that you mean a check) no, but if you aren’t still filing weekly with the workforce commission, you have “dropped” out of the marketplace by their account.
Serendipity ......
Made in the USA and EVerify. If manufacturing jobs came home and US citizens filled them, there would not be and would never have been the crisis we're in.
I can recall a time when there was only one promise zone — it ran from the Atlantic to the Pacific and from the Canadian border to the Mexican border.
I love Jeff Sessions. From what I’ve read, Session must be, together with Ted Cruz, the most conservative of the Republican bunch.
A Jeff Session/Ted Cruz OR a Ted Cruz/Jeff Session presidential team would be a dream come true. Ted is young and can always run for the presidency after Jeff’s two-terms expire.
Can I dream?
So it's just another useless government program? Or are tax cuts involved?
Once unemployment benefits run out people quit filing. So the statement that once your benefits run out you are dropped off the roles is true for the vast majority.
