I learned, much to my dismay, about parasites from watching “Monsters Inside Me”. China and other foreign countries, including Latin America, market food, including meats, fish and fruit, that can be hazardous, even deadly; they contain parasites that are truly dangerous. I am so grateful that you have provided this in-depth information to everyone.

They’re sneaking in tainted chinese honey, too by bringing it in via another country to disguise its origin.

Del Monte Mandarin Oranges in jar = China.
Del Monte Citrus Salad, Red Grapefruit slices in jars = Mexico.

Hard to do. Half the garlic in Gilroy (The Garlic Capitol of the World) is from China.

China is even shipping crap to Mexico where it is stamped ‘Made in Mexico’.

If only our thoroughly corrupted government would eliminate the corporate tax, neuter the epa and eliminate a long list of acronyms we might see a resurgence of manufacturing and processing in our pitiful nation.

china is an enemy, yet our nation allows them to buy the largest pork producer in the world. Americans with functioning brains will remember this and ‘voila’ that producer will end up in the tank where it will belong.

Americans buy clothing, toys and Christmas tree ornaments and even religious articles from a nation that kills Christians.

Be very careful about seafood. Unless you’re sure that the seafood you’re eating has been locally caught, skip it. It’s probably coming from China and they have absolutely no hygene standards for the production of seafood that they grow and export. After reading an article about ther shrimp that’s served in most restaurants I’ll never, ever buy shrimp at a chain restaurant again.

I would also avoid anything that comes in contact with your food, such as plates. My wife wanted new dinner/salad plates and bowls for Christmas, and I had to do some extra research to find a brand not made in China and not containing any lead.

Thanks for posting that.

We just had a conversation about "local" honey, that I buy. I told DD that it was good for allergies and that I purchased it at the near by feed store. DH piped in with, "right, where they bottle it, in the back room, with the honey from China". He was kidding, but it makes you think.

Just called Green Giant customer service— said their vegetables were not from China and they are labeled with country of origin if imported. She also indicated that would also include ingredients

Locally caught? Lake Michigan is full of PCBs. I won’t eat fish from there. It’s lucky that I don’t really care for fish, so I’ll never die from fish-borne diseases.

That's not surprising.
Mexico - doing the sneaky work that the Chinese can't do ;-)

Only a very limited number of fish from the great lakes can be sold but toxin levels are pretty debatable at best.

I know people who have eaten fish from the great lakes a couple times per week for decades with no ill effects for them, their offspring, or grandchildren.

Even Lenox:
Where is Lenox china manufactured?

In:China and Chinese Territories

Answer:

The answer is not necessarily crystal clear (sorry for the pun). Most, if not all, of Lenox china and tableware are now made overseas in either Europe or Asia, depending on the specific item.

According to the Associated Press, on March 26, 2010, Homer Laughlin merged with Hall China Company, making it the last American china company with the china being made in the United States. The merger occurred after Syracuse China Company, the second to last company, closed its doors in 2009.

Drive old cars, wear second hand clothes, BUT DO NOT SKIMP ON WHAT GOES INTO YOUR BODY. It becomes you and determines your health. Check origins of everything going into your mouth or onto your skin.

Good article.
